Two-time Arnold Classic Champion Kai Greene will return to the stage on May 28 at the 2011 IFBB New York Pro. Greene, who won the New York Pro in 2008, is coming off a disappointing 7th place finish at the 2010 Mr. Olympia. Greene decided to sit out this year's Arnold Classic so he could regroup and get some much needed rest.
Now rested and healthy, Greene has a renewed vigor to become the best bodybuilder in the world. "I am looking forward to new beginnings," Kai stated. "The New York Pro will be that and more!"
Greene joins a lineup that already includes Cedric McMillan, 2010 USA’s overall winner Jason Huh and 2010 National’s overall winner Robert Burneika.
There is no better stage for him to start this new chapter of his career than at the NY Pro, held at the Tribecca Performing Arts Center. Greene first stood on that stage as an amatuer in 1997 and he turned pro there at the 2004 Team Universe; 2007 served as his launching pad to success in the pros, as his sixth-place finish in New York served notice that he would be one to watch. One month later he was, winning the first contest of his pro career in Colorado. If that wasn’t enough, Greene's win at the 2008 NY Pro cemented his place as a top IFBB Pro League athlete.
NY Pro promoter Steve Weinberger is excited to have Greene in the contest: "It’s nice to have a local guy doing the show and it’s great for the NY fans."
A dominating win in New York will again place Greene as a top contender for the Olympia title. Check out FLEXonline in the coming weeks for exclusive coverage of Greene's quest to take a bite out of the Big Apple

RAGE...BUILDING...
-
I hope he does a headstand and spreads his ass cheeks.
Geez it's so hawt when he does that!
-
No one fucking cares. Bodybuilding fans don't like the guy, the general public does not like the guy, muscle fetish homosexuals are his ONLY fan base.
I wish him the best, on a personal level, but to be frank I am disgusted when I see him. Wish he would change.

2 mth difference between the arnold and the ny pro = 130k difference in his bank acct = kai is a stupid mfer = phil is a stupid mfer for not doing the arnold while kai is absent which is 150k less in his pocket = both kai and phil are stupid mfers for thinking the ifbb will unseat jay and passing on easy money
-
Kai might be a nice guy and all but posing wise he is the reason why I would be embarrassed to watch the show with my non bodybuilding friends or wife. I started bodybuilding because of people like Arnold. They acted professional and goofy at the same time but never in a gay way.
Perfect example is. When i was younger my father would always stop and watch pumping iron with me or Mr. Olympia show when Shawn ray, Dorian, Lee Priest, competed. He would actually go out of his way to ask information about competitors.
The minute he saw Kai Green POSING the first thing he said was "Who let this guy out of the mental hospital" and walked away.
As i said kai green might be nice guy and all but i want to see posing like Arnold, Shawn ray, lee priest, flex and not feel like i am in male strip club where kai feels himself up and down his body and does up side down ass spreads.

Or maybe the word was put out to let Centopani have a go...because if they were at the Arnold or the Flex Pro, he would not have won.

the window of opportunity in bbing is small as far as winning the Arnold and the Olympia so grab them while you can and put the money away. Kai and Phil are dumbasses. Kai cant carry the weight necessary to beat Jay. I'm sure you saw the 260+ lb kai train wreck at the O. as far as phil goes...a dental floss width lat spread isnt going to do it against jay. phil in particular could pick up 500k with a couple of easy Arnold wins. you know how the ifbb works. phil has now placed ahead of kai...so he'll probably be slotted ahead of kai for the rest of their careers.
Both are jackasses.
-
yes kaj green is an disgrace, i bet his family broke all contacts with him too.

yes kaj green is an disgrace success, i bet his family broke all contacts with him too for loans.
fixed.

Quite true, one of the main reasons why Flex did the Arnold, he could easily pick up 100k vs not winning the Mr. O
Phil could win the Arnold and have that as a steppig ston or a marketing tool to garner more sponsors as well.
-
Spot on assessment Colossus3, I feel the same way.
My dad gave up on BBing after Ronnie & Jay. Stopped being interested in BBing after the mid 90s (that's when it declined in my opinion too). My idol was Arnold and favorite Mr. O physique was Lee Haney...I was a kid then but looking back, that is more of an ideal physique to me.

Yes. And Jay did that three times. It was all about collecting the prize money and attracting more lucrative contracts.
I thought Jay was Phil's idol? He even has same kind of wallet. Now he should start filling that wallet like Jay.
-
well, I guess he has to Qualify for the O this year after getting pounded in the Rear end with 7th place last year?
-
Sounds like he needs some cash the old apartment where they pissed in the elevator may have closed. 8)
