My view on this it maybe bad but might be there best show of the year what I think.
-
Why is Rock not scheduled to wrestle on the card? What exactly is a Wrestlemania 'host' anyway? Stupid. Why bring him back if he's not wrestling? To cost Cena the match by interfering and setting up a future match? Why not do a triple threat match with Cena, Rock and Miz instead? It's wrestling's biggest event of the year. He should be wrestling on the card.
-
The only match i'm interested in on this WM card is the Undertaker vs Triple H. The rest is a complete waste of time.
-
I'm still waiting for the 2011 Bunkhouse Stampede.
Without other strong wrestling promotions, wrestling has lost all the surprise factor. There is nothing Vince can do anymore that would shock us besides setting himself on fire and that would only spike the ratings for a few seconds.

Bullseye.

He did that already. Well, he got blown up. But, that angle went south after the Benoit situation.

LOL.
Really though, having different popular promotions throughout the country really did help wrestling. People had the chance to see wrestlers come in, get into an angle then leave having other popular wrestlers come in and do the same. What heped was the wrestling magazines that made some wrestlers stars that weren't even in some peoples viewing areas, so when they came to an area, kids had at least a background on that wrestler. Hey, but whats more important; getting along and all making some money OR putting everyone out of business and making ALOT more money?
Funny story about wrestling magazines, when I was a kid my brother had some friends that wrote for those mags. I would go to school and bet people who would be champion or who was next to come into the WWWF (that was what was local). They coudn't figure out how I knew all this. The mags had to know all of this stuff because they were writen way ahead of time. Then getting into the mid to late eighties the WWF refused to let other magazines "in" on what was going to happen because they were pushing their mag.
-
i think in due time we will see the territories resurface...provided you have old-schooled mentality running them.
-
LOL.

Wasn't that around the time PWI and its magazines quit recognizing the WWF title as a "world" title and said they considered it a regional title since Hogan rarely wrestled outside the northeast, and when he did all they did was ship the same guys out to wrestle him instead of the top local talent? And you are spot on with your thoughts on territories....Playboy, Monty and I have been ranting about it for awhile now... haha
-
Hogan NEVER wrestled anywhere other then the states while with the then WWF.
Flair, wrestled and represented the NWA and defended the title all over the world. Thats the mark of a true champion IMO.

Weren't WrestleManias 6 and 18 held in Canada? And, before Skydome, there was that old stadium (the CNE center, I think) where he battled Paul Orndoff.
-
while the wrestlemania card is week,it does look like their best card this year,a couple of decent matches.

I'll rephrase...Hogan never wrestled anywhere other than North America (Canada & USA) while with the WWF. Thank you.
-
Streak match is gonna be good.
No, it's not. It is going to be a snoozefest with two slow moving guys going into the crowd, up the ramp, in the ring to hit their "spots" before limping across the finish line to take the match home. HHH will never top the performance that Shawn Michaels gave in his match.

Agreed!! I'm sick of the retread matches. 'Taker needs some new challengers. And, quite frankly, the only major player left, that he hasn't faced at WrestleMania, is the "Fruity Pebble" guy.
-
The only beef I have with the Triple H / Undertaker match is the fact that they already wrestled at WM17. Aside from that I am just interested to see the outcome.
-
I look forward to this match as well. Really think that there's gonna be interference from HBK and possibly Big D.
I wouldn't be surprised if HBK is the special guest referee. It should be alright. It is a no holds barred scrap.
-
I honestly thought he hurt himself for real when he did that moonsault and landed onto the annoucers table.

He worked with Hansen, Muta and Tenryu in the early 90's. I've seen some matches he had in England with Savage and Slaughter as well.

Was that while he was still in the Fed?
I know that up until sometime in '86, Vince was sending guys over to Japan as part of a talent-exchange, and Hogan was one of them.
I guess Vince decided he was losing too much money in the domestic market, though, because he began sending Greg Valentine in place of Hogan.
Japan cancelled their arrangement.
;D
Playboy is right, though, in regards to his Hogan/Flair comparison.
Flair always seemed to be much more of a "world" champion in the literal sense.

They had a talent exchange with SWS that's when he wrestled Tenryu. I agree about Flair too, his schedule in the 80's would have killed most men.

Don't forget Goldberg.

I'm looking foward to the Edge-Del Rio match. I'm curious if they will actually give him the belt. Lawler-Cole is what it is...by the reaction of the live crowds, people are dying to see Lawler get his hands on Cole. Don't care about Cena-Miz or Taker-HHH, Sheamus-Danielson could be an awesome match.
-
Here's the latest on that "stellar" card:
Announced for the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2011 are: Hacksaw Jim Duggan (to be inducted by the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase), Drew Carey, Bullet Bob Armstrong, Sunny and Shawn Michaels
~ The Rock will host the show
~ Dolph Ziggler and LayCool vs. John Morrison, Trish Stratus and Snooki Waste of time
~ Rey Mysterio vs. Cody Rhodes amatursish
~ Jerry Lawler vs. Michael Cole w/Jack Swagger (Steve Austin as Referee) Just because of Austin
~ CM Punk (Mason Ryan, Michael McGillicutty & David Otunga are banned from ringside) vs. Randy Orton Decent
~ No Holds Barred Match: Triple H vs. The Undertaker
~ World Title Match: Edge © vs. Alberto Del Rio Not enough va va va voom
~ WWE Title Match: The Miz © vs. John Cena Too pradictable
Now they had to bring in a retired Trish Stratus and the little meatball Snooki from Jersey shore because there are litterally no stars worth watching. Wow...
Only match I am interested in is the No Holds Barred match....and thats provided that the Undertaker can still do it with his age and extremely bad shoulder.
-
Snooki already gave me all the entertainment I needed by watching all the internet melt down over her having a match.
-
I think they have more than enough stars on the show. Austin, Rock, Trish, probably Shawn...it's just a way to get them some mainstream attention. At least she will bring some attention to a match that no one would otherwise care about. It will be 10-15 minutes of a 4 hour show and she was better in the ring than some of the girls they have now lol.

Personally, I hope Laycool cleans their clocks. They are better female performers. Trish is too played out and Layla and McCool IMO are better looking now. See them in those bootie shorts last night on Raw?

I was hoping for a McCool pussy slip haha. My guess is that Morrison and his team are going over, but I agree with you. I'm a huge Laycool fan. Give Ziggler-Morrison like 10 minutes of ring time then have the women do something and it wouldn't be that bad IMO.

McCool must have twisted her ankle. She had a hooker high boot on one leg, and a giant dark shoe / sock on the other.

Here's the latest on that "stellar" card:
Announced for the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2011 are: Hacksaw Jim Duggan (to be inducted by the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase),
I finished reading Teds book last week (2 stars out of 5) and he said that the three strongest men in professional wrestling was Andre, Steve Williams, and Hacksaw Duggan
~ The Rock will host the show The only thing going for it so far
~ Dolph Ziggler and LayCool vs. John Morrison, Trish Stratus and Snooki I agree, a complete Waste of time
~ Rey Mysterio vs. Cody Rhodes Cody has that nice little gimmick going on right now though... and Mysterio is shitting pins and needles about Mystico entering the WWE, even though Mystico is only as good as the person carrying him through the match.
~ Jerry Lawler vs. Michael Cole w/Jack Swagger (Steve Austin as Referee) Zero interest at all here
~ CM Punk (Mason Ryan, Michael McGillicutty & David Otunga are banned from ringside) vs. Randy Orton After routinely whipping Punk and all the Nexxus members, this match is onesided at best. PUnk has some great comedy bits that he pulls out of nowhere at times though. I expect a returning Sheffield or other member to join in
~ No Holds Barred Match: Triple H vs. The Undertaker Two old farts - one a MMA wannabee wearing eyeliner and the other a hollywood reject having a street fight because neither of them possess any actual wrestling skills
~ World Title Match: Edge © vs. Alberto Del Rio Destiny will be fulfilled. Edge as multi time champ is bullshit
~ WWE Title Match: The Miz © vs. John Cena Was it me or on the last Monday Night Raw, did it seem like these two were getting ready for some homo loving and skin rubbing on the floor at the end? It was getting a bit creepy
-

You forgot about SUNNY!!!
;D

The plan as of today is to have Jim Ross call at least two matches at WrestleMania.
-Wrestling Observer
-
Yeah, Undertaker and HHH have no wrestling skills. HHH is only employed because of Stephanie, otherwise he would have been released in 2002. Undertaker is too old and has been carried since 1998. Did I miss anything?

Yes, Brooklin Brawler has been carrying the WWE since 1985 ;)

Gee, I wonder if one's going to be the Cole vs. Lawler matchup.

This is the weakest wrestlemania that I can remember.
Not having a MITB match hurts the show alot. And also not having a properly pushed main event is really sucking the life out of this show.
Maybe Vince will realize he needs to create some new stars when the ppv numbers from this show absolutely bombs.

"Money in The Bank" is now its own pay-per-view.
-
I always thought that the MITB was the highlight of the WM card. All the midcard guys doing all these crazy high spots to try and get noticed.
-
It wouldn't be a MITB match without Shelton.
-
"Money in The Bank" is now its own pay-per-view.
Like PB said it was the highlight of the last few wrestlemanias it was a 25 minute highlight reel.
Oh well. I for one wont be wasting my hard earned $$ on this years WM.
-
The "King of Kings" will someday run your beloved Federation along side his queen.
-
Shane O'Mac saw the writing on the wall. HHH is the King of Kings.
Based on what's been said, I suspect that Stephanie may be a little "difficult" to work with at times.
-
(http://www.emailjunks.com/media/20080909-044404-16.jpg)
Every straight guy on earth would hit that.
Orton/Punk
Undertaker/HHH
The only matches I'm interested in........but I don't really watch that much so I don't know how the rest of the guys are doing. Any other matches going to be noteworthy?
-
And Vince wonders why attendance is down...cuz the Cards suck!
Undertaker vs HHH.....WWE tried to make us think this is the first battle together...umm not
Sheamus is now Champ again...where is his title match?
Not crazy about Kofi but where is his match?
To me, it's Raw the night after I look forward to
-
I think the Edge-Del Rio match will be really good. They need some filler matches. It really was a mistake to get rid of MIITB. I'm interested to see what they do with Mysterio. They have Sin Cara coming in and Cody has great character development. I hope Rey puts him over.

Give him a chance to run with the ball......I always thought he had potential.

I agree. I thought Dibiase would be the bigger of the two. Granted, they are far from done but Cody looks like a star. I don't know what they are doing with Ted. No matter what he does he can't get out from his dad's shadow.

Well it sucks they tried to have him do the whole million dollar belt gimmick, he'll never get under his dads shadow like that.
I think it helps Cody that he looks or acts nothing like his dad did. The only way you know they are father/son is the name.
But Cody does have a bit of his dads charisma. They just need to let him loose. The narcissistic gimmick is perfect for him and hes a natural at it. He can take that pretty far. I think his lack of a physical intimidation factor hurts him though.

There has been an update to the two main event matches:
According to sources within WWE, a change is expected to be made to a top tier WrestleMania match over the next few days. Many are speculating that Christian will be added to the World Heavyweight Championship Match between Edge and Alberto Del Rio.
– As of yesterday, creative plans called for Triple H vs. The Undertaker to conclude WrestleMania, with no career ending stipulations.

Cena-Miz should close the show. I think HHH is looking for a "signature" WM match. He has been overshadowed by Hogan-Rock and Taker-HBK, on seperate cards.

Lets face it though, Mass, I would rather watch an old Taker vs HHH anyday over the other matches on that particular card. The card is lame.
-
As soon as DiBiase came out last night on Raw I thought of this post. Then HHH mopped the floor with him. I don't think his future looks bright..
Nah, he is just paying his dues. HHH had to endure the same bullshit when he did the infomous MSG curtain call incident and look where he is today. Remember, he was already a huge star making a million dollars a year and a two time world champion in 1999-2001 prior to Stephanie.
-
Can't wait for the Sheamus-Danielson match. I think it will be great. Good to see a midcard belt be given a serious match at the show.

Bryan is a pheonmenal ring tech. I could watch him wrestle all day long. His ROH work was amazing. They should be using him more often on cards as well as bringing some prestige back in the US and Intercontinental titles.

I would like to see them unify the U.S. and I-C belts.
Together, they seem redundant, and having both diminishes the value of each, IMO.
I feel the same about the world titles.
I'm glad they never carried over WCW's TV title.

Titles don't mean as much when almost everyone on the roster has one.
That's the law of diminishing returns...
Just have 1 brand, 3 titles, and keep the belts on one group/team for at least several months at a time.
A unification tourney would probably help reestablish some credibility to the belts from a story-line perspective.
Remember the final match of WM4, when they had Robin Leach carry out the H-W title on an elegantly framed display case upholstered with red velvet?
Then, Macho came to the ring with his $8K sequinned robe accompanied by Liz in her designer dress and dripping with diamond-encrusted jewelry.
Talk about presentation!
Contrast that with the guys who walk to the ring carrying the belt in their hand, holding it down by their waist with one strap dragging on the ground.
Yeah, it worked for Austin, but for everyone else..."you ain't Austin."
Just wear the fcuking belt!
Jerome Bettis doesn't carry his Super Bowl ring in his pocket when attending events.
You W-E-A-R THE BELT.
-

I couldn't agree more and very good point on the attire and presentation of WM4 and Robin Leech. I always noted the elegance of it.

Well, for nearly 4 years, there were THREE world titles: WWE, WCW/World, and ECW.
Nah, he is just paying his dues. HHH had to endure the same bullshit when he did the infomous MSG curtain call incident and look where he is today. Remember, he was already a huge star making a million dollars a year and a two time world champion in 1999-2001 prior to Stephanie.
If he paid any dues, they were short and cheap, as that incident happened in May and Helmsley ended up Intercontinental champion by October. Of course, Ahmed Johnson's injury threw the whole IC title thing out of whack.
-

No, they don't.
HHH got by simply being a HBK stooge and VKM brown nose dog. He stuck to the "truth" version of the Hitman incident of being screwed over. Vince rewarded him. He hasn't done jack shit in the past year and gets a wrestlemania match? Based on what? Another redundant recap match.
Taker ain't done shit all year long either except get in Brocks face and make a little publicity. At his own expense because despite his little MMA obsession and being a big fish in a fake pond, Brock would ass rape him in the octagon in front of everyone. Anyone even assuming that Taker would want to legit fight him needs their head checked.

'Taker is an MMA fan. He was being interviewed when Lesnar passed by him. He didn't start anything and it's no secret that he and Brock had some sort of beef from the early 2000s.
As for the match with Helmsley, I'm not fond of it either because it's a re-tread, the third time 'Taker has faced someone he's already beaten at WrestleMania. It appears now Shawn Michaels is going to be involved in this. I hope they don't have him interfere and have 'Taker lose, as a result.
I have a feeling, however, that if Michaels interferes, he'll cost HHH the match. Thus, you set up the campaign to get Michaels "reinstated".

lol I'm not too worried about it.
-
I thought the HHH-Undertaker segement was good. It made up for the weak buildup over the past few weeks.
-
So Taker had to show up and tell HHH to his face? Why? Doesn't HHH own a tv set?
-
Loved it! HHH part about the respect for the Undertaker was all goosebumps! Big time goose bumps! I have been watching this guy half my life. Timmy is the guy on the couch and the drunk guy in the crowd. Have NO idea how hardcore these guys truly are. 20-zip. Not only the streak. Helmsly did a great job tonight. Shawn was the retarded cross eyed kid pushed in the corner. I love this time of year. This match is gonna be great! Lets do it! Wrestlemania!!!
I agree. It seems like they put a months worth of build into one promo. I wasn't excited for this match but now I am. I thought Shawn was awesome. He came out like the old HBK but at the end of it was a beaten down old man. It showed how much the matches with Taker took out of him. The HHH quote about how Shawn got soft was awesome. He'll be involved somehow..like a "Whose side is he on?" thing.

I have to agree with the premise of the thread.
The problem with Taker - HHH is that neither have been active. So, the match comes off very contrived. Vince needed a big match so he put together two stars.
Miz - Cena is not the match people want see. That would be Rock - Cena. By bringing back Rock, Vince made the WM main event a build-up to another match as opposed to a culmination.
-
I thought the HHH-Undertaker segement was good. It made up for the weak buildup over the past few weeks.
I enjoyed it and thought it was needed to make everyone believe into the storyline. The fact that Michaels came out and the two killer promo's that they each cut leads one to believe that it could really go either way.

from Bret Hart's facebook:
"I'm looking forward to Wrestlemania 27, especially because it's in Atlanta, a city that had a truly rich pro wrestling history going back decades until Eric Bischoff killed it deader than dead with WCW in 2000. I worked Atlanta back in 1981 when it was Georgia Championship Wrestling and it's terrific that WWE is inducting the greatest monster heel the wrestling business ever knew. Abdullah the Butcher terrorized the Stampede territory when I was a kid. From there he hit Japan like Godzilla, drawing tons of money and tons of fans. He is the King of Heels, if you ask me. I won't be at Wrestlemania this year but just knowing legends like Harley Race will be at Axxess makes me want to book my flight.
As for the actual line-up, it's been a slow build for much of the card, but for the past few weeks the promos and backstage situations seemed to be rather plain and flat, totally predictable. The Undertaker and Triple H segment with Shawn Michaels played out exactly like I expected, the usual smoke blowing up the rectum stuff, more grunts and then a staring contest, thank God Shawn was there just to add something, anything to it. I suppose there isn't much else these two legends can do as far as buildup goes but it came across to me as having little imagination, the match itself should be one of the better match ups because Taker brings it all the way for Wrestlemania and Triple H can turn it up when he wants to. Triple H has had some hard fought battles over the years, but I don't know if he's ever had his chance to literally blow them away at Wrestlemania but this might be his best chance. Taker, in my opinion, is truly one of the all-time best and time and time again, he has delivered the best match on the show so I expect a good solid match, old school but intense. It could steal the show.
I think that Edge and Alberto Del Rio should be a great showdown. These two can dance and Del Rio has been getting more annoying every week. Edge is one of those solid workers that can and will deliver when the time comes, and nobody should underestimate the skill of Alberto. Having grown up in the business, he has waited his entire lifetime for this exact moment. He's just starting to hit his stride now. They'll be no stopping him soon enough.
Cody Rhodes against Rey Mysterio should also be a classic simply because this is a clash of the greatest Mexican wrestler that ever lived squaring off with Cody Rhodes, who is one of the very best American style wrestlers in the business. Son of a legendary father, he has all the tools. If you don't believe me take a look at Cody's punches and kicks, spot on, enough I bet to make some of the bigger stars in the company cringe when they watch their stuff back on TV.
I expect that Randy Orton will give a great fight at Mania against CM Punk. This is one that, again, seemed to build up pretty much like I expected; same promo and psychology I envisioned before they even came out on RAW last night. These two are some of my favorites and they're at the very top of their game. I don't like to criticize either one of them, but I do wish there was more possibility for the unexpected. The angles are becoming harder and harder to differentiate from what they were doing a few months ago. With the storylines, I know it's a difficult job to be original in a business where everything has been done, but with two pros like these two, you'd think their buildup could've been slightly more unpredictable and actually think up something fitting as far as drama and intrigue. So I guess what I'm saying is the talent is there, I'm curious to see where it all ends up at Mania.
I know I've raved about certain guys, but the match I'd tell any young aspiring wrestler to concentrate on and study over and over will be the Sheamus versus Daniel Bryan. I was impressed by Daniel back in ROH but he's absolutely brilliant since his WWE arrival. He reminds me of my brother Owen at times, but he is everything that is good and true about pro wrestling. He makes me rise up to my feet in my living room every time I watch him. He is the best in the world right now as far as workrate goes. As for Sheamus, he has only gotten better and better. His moves are rock solid and his timing is perfect. The timing for a guy his size to jump up and kick his opponent in the face as he jumps off the top rope is sublime and these two will steal the show if they let 'em.
As for the Miz versus Cena match, again I thought for sure that The Rock would end up as part of it all along, but maybe not. If not, then I feel very disappointed. Rock brings so much. He looks great and he stoked a fire in me with his blazing promos. if anything, this storyline seems empty without him, which is a shame because Miz and Cena deserve better. This one seems to be all about Rock versus Cena. I thought some of the writing these past weeks came seriously close to killing the goose laying the golden eggs in WWE. I think with the main event, as a fan, I'd like to see them get to the damn point and focus on that, rather than dressing something up to look like a something else. Oh, and by the way the point is the actual wrestling.
I've never underestimated my onetime nemesis Jerry 'The KIng' Lawler. People can say what they want but Jerry is an old pro. I have no doubts he'll deliver a entertaining match and having Stone Cold there adds a lot as well. As for Michael Cole, he might be the most hated heel in wrestling right now and it will be worth the price of the PPV to see Lawler kick Cole's butt from one end of the ring to the other. No doubt Andy Kaufman will be watching from above. This one will deliver the smiles needed to complete a first rate Wrestlemania. I expect an excellent show, but I'm putting my faith in some of the dark horse matchups to make the most noise.

Mania 27 Predictions
March 29, 2011
WrestleMania time again so it’s time for my annual WrestleMania prediction commentary. I hope to redeem myself somewhat after a horrendous performance last year. Last year was my worst year yet (I’ve been doing these since Mania 22) picking only 2 winners out of 10 matches. My per year prediction rate thus far is:
Mania 22: 63%
Mania 23: 63%
Mania 24: 44%
Mania 25: 50%
Mania 26: 20%
So over the past 5 years I’ve averaged just slightly below the prediction percentage of a coin flip, with a 48% accuracy. This is pretty sad, but looking at the lineup this year, I think my chances of getting back above 500 are pretty good. No MITB really helps because picking a winner in a 10 man match like that is near impossible.
Undertaker vs. HHH: No way I’m betting against the streak; I tried that last year on the way off chance I’d look brilliant if Shawn won. I had a horrible record last year so no more long shots for me. Taker goes 19-0. The promo segment on Monday was freakin Awesome, kudos to Michaels in particular who really put this over the top for me. Taker and HHH were a ten but HBK was an 11 Monday night.
The Miz vs. John Cena: I was so sure of this match until Monday. I had Cena all the way, but with Rock now doing the post Mania RAW show and rumors abound that he may do a Cena match at some point I’m not too sure. If they are doing a Rock- Cena match any time soon you don’t want the title in the middle of it so I’d keep it on Miz. If you aren’t doing the Rock match I’d put it on Cena so you get happy wins on house shows all summer. I’m going to gamble and say Cena wins.
Randy Orton vs. CM Punk: Randy was on a roll killing all of Nexus, so I was picking Punk in this one, hands down. They had done such a great a job not having these two in the ring together so I was positive Punk was getting the win, then Monday they had Punk hit his finisher and leave Orton laying and now I’m not so sure. I’m still going to go with Punk figuring that since they haven’t had a match leading into Mania that this program moves forward and Punk steals a win here somehow to lead to rematches. Assuming there even is a finish.
Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan: I don’t see the point in putting the title right back on Bryan so Sheamus retains and they can do rematches on the road.
Jerry Lawler vs. Michael Cole: If they do anything but Lawler killing Cole at the end I’ll be so pissed. This angle has been awesome and it needs to climax here and have Lawler pile drive Michael Cole. With Austin as the ref Lawler has to get the win IMO.
Rey Mysterio vs. Cody Rhodes: This is a tough one for me to pick because I haven’t been watching that much SD so I don’t have the best feel for this match, I’m just going to have to take a shot in the dark and say Rhodes picks up the victory.
Edge vs. Alberto Del Rio: I’m picking Del Rio here. I think they have big plans for this guy and I think he’s a good choice to do big things with moving forward. I would imagine they will do something involving Christian leading to Alberto getting the win and peeling Edge away from the title picture for a bit to work with Christian.
Morrison, Trish, Snooki vs. Ziggler, LayCool: Big baby face win here. I don’t see Snooki agreeing to do a job and with Trish being a part of Tough Enough, which debuts the next night, it would be dumb to beat her here. Baby faces win.
The Corre vs. Kane, Show, Santino, Koslov: I’m going with the Corre in this one. For me those are the guys with legs building to the future I’d put them over and a lose for Santino or Koslov would be no big deal. This way we avoid anymore Trombone playing by Kane, my God I hated that on Monday.
Enjoy the show,
Lance Storm

UT is all show and no go... Always has been.
HHH will probably make him look great though... Just like Foley and Michaels did before him.
He was pretty limited early on..I think a big part of that was his gimmick. It's hard to show what you can do in the ring if you are a waking dead guy. He was stuck working with Gigante, Kamala, Mable...When he took on a more human persona in the late 90's he really took off. He's been lucky to work with a lot of talented guys but so have a lot of guys.

He has never been a guy like Shawn, Flair, or Bret who you knew was going to have a great match no matter what. He was hit or miss early on but IMO he's turned into one of the best workers in the company since the 2000's. Incredible agility for a guy his size.

BLASPHEMY!!!!!!!
I can't help it bro... He never really moved well in the ring... He climbs a turn buckle and walks the rope because the other guy helps stabilize him... he's got a powerbomb... a piledriver... a choke slam, lots of punches and kicks.
I mean, I get you and he got a lot in common being as tall as a skyscraper (homage to Spivey and Sid) but you move around better than he does.

Some pretty good predictions and insite here, Mass. I agree with pretty much all of them. I have a funny feeling that Michaels will cost HHH the match. Maybe by trying to superkick the Undertaker and missing and hitting HHH instead. Something along those lines. HHH has to lose but with credability. I don't think they'll kill the streak either. 18 WM wins only to lose 1? Makes no sense but creative has done retarded things before. Maybe this is the Undertaker's way of bowing out. He is old and riddled with injuries. For me this is the match. I could honestly care less about the rest of the card. If it wern't for Rock, Austin and of few other celebrities (Snoop Doggy Dogg may have a cameo) the card is nothing special by any means.

It's a good thing Snooki was there to keep'm apart. Otherwise, all hell would've broken loose. ;)

That little Jersey Shore meatball shouldn't even be there.

Oh, now don't get me wrong... the UT gimmick... The way he is... WHO he is... Absolutely fantastic.
Mark Callaway is absolutely one of the most real life guys you'll ever meet... He doesn't bullshit and I appreciate that.

My buddy recently asked me, and maybe your "source" would know:
Does Taker currently have a stipulation in his contract that guarantees he goes over at WM?

He probably doesn't need a stipulation......I read somewhere that creative isn't involved at all and HHH and Taker are doing their own match, old school style.

I can easily believe that.
That promo from the other night was extremely unlike anything they've been doing with the current product, and that's a good thing.
It's guys like Taker & HHH who should be working the majority of creative; not the soap writers they've been using.

Exactly. I remember reading a quote from Hulk Hogan about working with Randy Orton and how they called the match while it happened, he said Orton was probably one of the last of the young guys that could do that. Not sure how many people have that ability to call a match on the fly like that.

I’d imagine not many.
Creative latitude seems to be in the shitter nowadays.
Although, to be fair, a “Hulk Hogan match” shouldn’t be too difficult to call improv-style.
Some of these dance numbers they do now require a bit more planning.
I think a lot also depends on the workers.
Flair & Steamboat (both tremendous workers) had a phenomenal series of matches that involved little more than a brief pre-match conversation discussing a very general outline to follow leading up to the finish.
For Steamboat’s & Savage’s WMIII match, months of planning went into that.
Savage worked most of his matches that way; planning every detail from A-Z.
When he wrote out the sequence, he would literally begin with, Step 1: Lock up.
Steamboat is proud of his matches with both men, but he favors those with Flair due to the added skill of calling a match in progress.

Speaking of Steamboat.....
When Steamboat wrestled Randy Savage at WM3, they both went over 200 moves / various spots at Randy Savage's mansion in Florida. When Flair wrestled Steamboat in their series of matches in 1989, the called the whole thing on the fly. That's the cookie cutter.

I've read that he's been more than willing to put over the right guy at WM..Kane at 14, but he refused and Orton at 21 who according to some reports was going to go over until he hurt himself.
-

I honestly don't think so but Undertaker has been with the WWE the longest now. He's at a level where if he wants something, he gets it with no questions asked.

DUCK FAT FRENCH FRIES?
;D
-
Fried anything is good. But the best is either in Duck/Goose fat like the French do. Or Pig fat like the Italians do. I save all the fat from the ducks I cook and render it. High smoking point so they become super crisp and great flavor. Mix sweet and white potatoes. Sea salt, ground pepper, and some chopped chervil. Killer! We're partying in midtown! Is Sin Carra gonna debut tonight and begin the destruction of Reys career? Timmy is all for Miz retaining. Gonna be a great night!
Sounds good!
Have fun, buddy!!!

Longer then HBK?
No. Michaels came to the WWE in 1988. Taker came in 1990. But now that Michaels is retired, it makes Taker the longest WWE employee (wrestler) that is.
