the Animal booth is always my favorite booth....I stopped by sunday to witness this guy squating 800lbs....what the hell was his name?....I can't recall, but they had a pretty chic there benching her bodyweight for 30 reps....I guess she weigh around a buck 30

That's pretty strong.

Interesting stuff - might give that a go when I train chest on Thursday this week doing it the way they do, i.e., half reps. I'm currently 227lbs drug free so I'll be happy if I can get more than 15 - that's the target anyway.
-
i had a 20 year old from my gym bench 815# and also 700# for a triple,in the cage on friday

What a coincidence, MY Sister's, brother's, cousin's, uncle's , son makes warm up military press with his Hummer H2. ::) ::)

I think McGrath is from the same town as Lundgren.
This dude put up 47 in Canada's version of the combine.

Ronnie did 225X77 and yes, that is extremely impressive. :o
-
why always they permit half reps in this kind of competition? ???
-

i agree, for their development its extremely weak.
one thing to take into consideration tho is that these guys probably arent doing any sets above 10-15 reps in any of their workouts though, so even though frank probably maxes out around 450-500, his muscles arent conditioned at all to lift for extended periods of time (high reps).
with a couple weeks of training specifically geared towards rep capacity these guys would be able to increase reps by 150-200%, assuming they havent done any kind of training like this for quite some time.

227lbs drug free!!!
impossible!!!
you need to speak with gh15 to determine if you fit into the possible spectrum for drug free bodybuilders... as i recall, 227lbs would be right at the "cant be done" end of his delusion.
gh15 and charlie sheen should run a combined web stream. now that would be entertaining.

Exactly! And take it into consideration many IFBB pros haven't flat benched since their amateur years as well.

Frank won. bigger range of motion, no bouncing, better form.
