I sometime drink a coors light or two when training at home... unless I'm doing legs, seem to release the "edge" ...
Arnold used to do it once in a while back in the day...

Alcohol ruins my workout, just kills all my energy. I've lifted drunk a few times and it's never gone well.
Working out while stoned is great though. The painkiller effect lets me push further, but it doesn't drain my energy like the booze.
The best pre-workout supplement is a strong energy drink and a few puffs of Cali Chronic.

pushups and beer are perfect for each other...IMO you cant call yourself a man if you havent slammed a few beers and busted out some pushups....

i think its pretty dangerous. imagine havin a dumbell getting out of balance and falling on your teeth

On alcohol it is usually, oh wo can lift the most weigh t stupid shit when everybody's drunk.
I did have an whole workout on cocaine though. And another one on E.

Drinking alcohol right after a hard workout is very pleasant, as most of you will agree....
And cheaper to get drunk.

No but I did go to wrestling practice on acid one time, I was into it.

A whole bottle of Jack Daniels pre workout makes you a Muscle Machine...so I've heard ::)

You get tired way quicker when you are drunk. You ever get into a wrestling match with one of your friends. After one minute you feel like throwing up.

Went out drinking heavy,got home at like 4:00am and went to the gym at 6:00am.

Naw,not at work.
....but true story,last night was suppose to be back,tri's and cardio then friends called and said pizza and beer at 6:00 so my workout was just back ;) ;D

I trained drunk just before xmas - I'd been out on a xmas party in the daytime and had sunk about half a dozen whiskys (which is a lot for me cos I hardly ever drink). I trained chest and bis and had an utter shit workout - I thought beforehand that the alcohol would fire me up and make me fearless to lifting heavier poundages, but all it did was completely sap my energy once I got going and I had died on my arse about two-thirds of the way through.

I was drinkin fortys one night and tried to do a standing barbell press with 185. I got it up easily, my hips pushed forward and the barbell drifted back, i fell over backwards and fucked my lower back. I still feel it from time to time after about 4 years. I don't drink anymore.
