Get rid of the FED

Diversify wealth so that no institution is "too big to fail"

Sever ties and back room deal making between the banking institutions and Washington DC

Don't force toxic assets onto loaning institutions ala Fannie Mae

Good insight brothers...

Seems off topic at first sight but isn't really... our culture which bodybuilding is an inherent part of, although still global and leading the way, needs some polishing at a minimum...

Too much intellience.
Obvious things = will never happen.
Political parties use the 2 party system to do whatever the fuck they want, and the taxpayers are just their puppets.
Nothings going to change, theyve got it figured out, they can manipulate the public to do whatever they want, were going to hand the country over to the politicians without them firing a shot

The FED = bullshit, but as long as the bankers buy the politicans, were just gonna be their cash cow. Then they destroy the country's economy when theyre done with us.

 Exactly.

All this fucked up shit just ain't gonna change. It'll take an enormous, very very bloody revolution to overthrow the FED and the 2 party system in the US. And nowadays most Americans are creatures of comfort, they aren't very revolutionary at all.

We are stuck with this shit for a while.

It's true but it was also true 250 years ago. Americans are also extremely competitive, greedy, diversity generators and system optimizers.

As long as this is inherently part of the culture, change will occur.

It's funny, I am a total flag waving wing nut. But one thing conservatives and liberals often agree on is the corrupt, disfunctional monetary policy in this country.

Now that I've leaned a little about whats really going on, its sad to see republicans and democrats arguing over the tiny discretionary budget. The real problems are SO HUGE, and the average joe on the street is not being told about the impending crises by almost any polititian. Things might get really bad in the next year or two. QE2 will be over by June. We either continue on an insane ponzi scheme or face a crushing depression. There may be no way out but doom.

probably the only getbiger to survive will be bench.  :-\

But on the broad level things are fucked.

Is there really any other point?   The only way to truly "win" on a broad level is to cap the population worldwide and let the death rate overtake the birth rate and adjust the economy accordingly, that way resources are not stressed and we can go back to a society where making quality, forever lasting goods from raw materials is the norm.

Cheap plastic garbage from China and those who readily buy and consume it is the gravest danger the United States.  (Coupled with an ignorant population as well)

There is a major problem with putting a cap on population.

Normally, Id be all for sticking around and fighting, but now I have to think about whats best for my family, kids, etc, and the fact that they pay Machinists better in Canada, better bennies, stronger dollar, etc, is hard to argue against.
Not to mention most of my family lives 50 miles from the border in western washington.

Look beyond the false left/right democrat/repub paradigm.  Vote for Ron Paul for pres. instead of these bought and paid for RINOs like Romney, Huckabee, Palin, Gingrich.

End the Federal Reserve= the first step in dismantling the major problems in this country.

I'm waiting for any of y'all to rise up...if not shut the Hell up. I do like you guys, but what is the point in complaining---it's what Americans do best, whine and complain. You don't like the way shits going, get off Getbig and grassroots it up...Or use Getbig as a starting point...then more will join in. Then the politicians eventually will (they have to weigh which side is best, and what is better for them, so they can say that they were a part of it).

Shot would already be happening if people could stand discomfort.... The problem is, the technology today has allowed them to manipulate people in such a way, that'd be impossible at this point to start anything, you'd just be branded as a terrorist and the whole country would clap as they lock you up and swallow the key. Times are different. People are different. The people are being so wholly manipulated by the system thy trust that they'll never rise up in revolt, they'll just say "vote the other party in next election, that'll fix it" :-\

Then have backing from the porn industry ;D . Seriously, the people in power watch that stuff, and pretend they don't...I've been told that a lot of senators go to downtown Georgetown for some BDSM fun.
Once you have backing from a certain block, you have to allow the people to forge ahead, it's a calling card.
My mother once said, don't let anybody blackmail you, just admit to it, because most of the time, it's not as bad as what you may think...

Social media can be a good or a bad thing, thing is, people are too jaded, but need leadership...this generation needs leaders, they don't have anything, other than stars who have no talent---these people are easily manipulated...

The American dream was always planned to have a beginning and an end. Now that the government/corporations are selling that dream to 3rd world countries, just what is the end game? And was that dream just an illusion? These are the questions that we should all be asking.

Do you honestly believe "we" can rise up in America? We can't drive down the road without a cop or two with a radar gun on our ass. People shouldn't be rising up. Thats how we get ourselves killed. If we look at the evolution theory, and that we may have been some kind of mouse or rat that hid in the rocks when we first came from the sea. Then that is what the revolution should be. Its has to be some kind of deep underground movement that really isn't talked about but felt. When everything is monitored by the Hierarchy(like it is today) then we have to think outside that paradigm to challenge the status quo. There's a reason text messaging is almost free in America but talking minutes are not.

The best idea I've heard concerning social security is put a limit on the age (say 45)  and everyone under the age quit paying in for ss and phase it out. I agree with this as I will (hopefully) have a large retirement account as I started saving from my first day of my career. While on the subject, I believe we need a mandatory series of financial management classes.

Well, I hope your savings plan works out for you when you retire. Unfortunately, a lot of people planned pretty well for their retirement, but the recent banking fraud has absconded with their nest egg and now they are greeters at Wall Mart, trying to get buy on their SSI.

If I could sell my fucking house, I'd move to Bavaria and live the American dream there. Unfortunately, the banking industry pulled the plug on the housing market in the U.S. So far, I've lost over $150,000....and I am lucky because I still owe a couple of hundred thousand less than what I can sell for.
