This should be a no brainer.
New Hampshire Bill Looks to Include Parents, Judge in Abortion Decision
Published March 13, 2011
Associated Press
CONCORD, N.H. (AP) -- Pregnant New Hampshire girls seeking abortions would first have to tell their parents or a judge under a bill coming up for a vote in the House in the upcoming week.
The bill would reinstate a parental notification law repealed four years ago. A House committee is recommending passing the bill, which requires 48 hours' notice before the girl can get an abortion. House GOP leaders are backing it as a parents' right issue.
Four years ago, Democratic Gov. John Lynch made New Hampshire the first state to repeal a law requiring parental notice for minors to get abortions. Lynch said the unenforced law was unconstitutional because it failed to protect the safety of young women. Lynch supports adult involvement in the decisions, but is noncommittal about the House bill.

it really is a no brainer...the idea that a person under the legal age of consent can go in and have a medical procedure done without the parent even knowing about it is just crazy
