I have a strong feeling that this one will be a flop. And a strong feeling that Thor will be likewise.
Green Lantern looks somewhat promising and Sucker Punch should do well.
I also think that they will choose another actor to fill the Superman role for some unanticipated reason.

Looks like a syfy movie (and it goes straight to dvd).
Momoa is a twink doesn't look like a Cimmerian (neither did Arnold but he was much closed to Conan than Momoa).

Conan the Barbarian (2011), previously titled Conan 3D, is an upcoming 3-D sword and sorcery film based on the character Conan the Barbarian created by Robert E. Howard. It is a new adaptation, separate from the earlier 1980s Arnold Schwarzenegger films. The film is set to star Jason Momoa in the lead role.

Fuck that noise. A worthless PC remake of a classic. Arnold is Conan. This guy, maybe he could play something in a Bay fantasy film like Gonad, The Rastafarian. Direct to DVD? More like direct to the shit can.

Jason is cast as Khal Drogo, a Mongol like steppe warrior chief in HBO'S upcoming series Game Of Thrones (which I'm greatly anticipating, having read and loved George RR Martin's "A Song Of Ice And Fire" books).
A very good choice for that role, but Conan? Hell no. First of all he's not big and muscular enough, and secondly, he's HALF HAWAIIAN. For fuck's sake, can't they get this shit right?
And actually, Arnold wasn't the best choice either. He was muscular enough, but they didn't even darken his hair. Conan's hair was black. And believe it or not, Arnold wasn't tall enough. Conan was "nearly a giant", over 6 1/2 feet tall. Looks wise, Lou would have been a better choice.

It looks like a straight to DVD release. :-\ :-\ I would not go out and see this film. Arnold is "Conan". 8)

saw the preview last night to the movie "the lincoln lawyer" which was actually pretty good, not a fan of m.mccoughaney usually, but he was pretty good in it, plus i love marisa tomei big time, anyway....
they showed the conan preview before this movie, and while this actor seemed to have buffed up a bit from the pics posted on this topic thread, i have to say i almost cracked up outloud when i heard him say one line, (the only line he speaks in this preview) " i conquer, and i slay" or something like that! and of course your not supposed to be laughing at conan right!
looks like a total bomb just from the trailer!
they showed the THOR trailer too, and that actually looks interesting!
