"The first time around it's like lightning in a bottle. There's something special about it, because you're defying the odds. And as time passes, you start taking it for granted that a guy named Barack Hussein Obama is president of the United States," Obama said. "But we should never take it for granted."

Wow, this has got to be the most telling statement of our president yet, and from the man himself. It makes me wonder, is the democratic party seriously running this guy for re-election? Really? Our president and his party are truly, delusional........I am sure someone in the president's administration is screaming, where is the teleprompter?!

I understand --- you'd rather be King of the World or the Messiah of all (serfs) Peoples.
Now, go play golf or revise your bracket picks before its too late.
Don't worry about that bunch of radical racists from the Tea Party -- Reid says they're short lived anyway.

Translation: Hey, we already fooled them once and it won't work again. We still have so much more to do to completely wreck this country and economy. Now it's time for you to get out there and bust some heads. If you can't fool them, intimidate them. My good friend Trumka (and old friend Alinsky) taught me that.

This is just the most amazing attitude I have ever seen or heard. So, yeah, in case there was any doubt, he plays the race card and the muslim Hussein card all the time. So, when you think it might be the subtext of this administration, think again. The only thing bigger than that truck driven by this administration marked RACE that drove over you is his ego. People are beginning to wonder really whether he is not a lot more than egotistical or narcissistic. How about Megalomaniacal? I'm convinced; don't need to see any more. Really amazing.

I can assure you that I dont take it for granted. Because you havent acted like a POTUS. No, you and your reckless Dem Party have acted like a bunch of third world irresponsible dictators. So, come 2012 you are history. So dont worry about me "taking you for granted". Matter of fact; why dont you go back to predicting basketball playoffs while the workd burns to the ground. You seem to really enjoy that.

You probably shouldn't, Mr. Obama, given that you serve at the will of the people. You will be shown the door in a historic fashion In November, 2011.

Wow that some weird shit, does he think he's Xeres?

The Associated Press - President Barack Obama makes a joke about bags under eyes and staffers’ fatigue as he talks about former campaign manager and new senior adviser David Plouffe at a Democratic National Committee event at a hotel in Washington, Wednesday, March 16, 2011. (AP Photo) "The first time around it’s like lightning in a bottle. There’s something special about it, because you’re defying the odds. And as time passes, you start taking it for granted that a guy named Barack Hussein Obama is president of the United States ... But we should never take it for granted." “I hope that all of you still feel that sense of excitement and that sense of possibility, because we still have so much more to do.” Obama made his remarks to about 500 members of the Democratic National Committee’s national finance committee and national advisory board at a Washington hotel.

Come on 33333... Are you kidding?
-
No I am not kidding - Obama is truly one of the most egotistical and arrogantpeople ever to hold office. Bloomberg and others have said the same thing in deal with this freak show Admn.
-
It takes someone pretty egotistical to even run for the office dude... Arrogance is kind of a prerequisite.

If you are Bloomberg, Trump, Gates, Buffet, Jobs, etc, fine, but please tell me what obama has done for the average schmoe that they should feel grateful he is still potus and feel the magic of 2008?
GMAFB. Obama needs to go. he is a disgrace on so many levels its not funny. He is the laughing stock of the world, not feared, not respected, not looked up to, not held in any esteem, and is otherwise, making what was a bad situation into an international catastrophe.
Holla!

My paycheck is a little higher since the new tax laws went into effect.
So for the average guy, that's pretty much it... I don't know what else he could have done of course though.

And guess what - QE2 and dollar devaluation causing higher food, fool, commodity, and other costs ate that up a long time ago.
Again - why should i be grateful for him as potus?

Maybe focus on the economy before more entitlements? Stop spending/borrowing money? 7$ bucks a week? What a windfall for those of us that are still actually collecting a pay check.

yep - all you have to do is watch the video and you can see that it's a harmless statement and he appears to be talking about not being complacent in the next election cycle
too bad RealClearPolitics doesn't live up to their name and provide some context for the statemnt or at least expalin where is is talking, etc..
Stuff like this is just too easy for dipshits like 333 to see and go off in a tailspin

Straw - why should we not take for granted that a guy named "Barrack Hussien Obama" is POTUS?
Give me a few reasons?
And GMAFB - Obama should be grateful to us the taxpayer for paying for th lifestyle 10 kings could not fathom, not the other way around.

exactly
Care to elaborate? Tell me what he was saying here?

Yes of course, don't be complacent in the next election cycle, just be complacent on just about everything else ::), you can justify what he says anyway you like, but I'm pretty sure everyone knows he is the POTUS, and can't remember another POTUS using it as an excuse

obviously you don't even understand my simple statement posted above
333 - every time I see one of your posts I assume you're either intentionally misrepresenting the truth or you unintentionally misunderstood what is being said. That is why you're a joke and why I look at very little of what you post
keep up the stupid work

yeah well it didn't help his party much in the mid-term election
this statement in my opinion is completely benign
let' me know when he starts joking about being a dictator like Bush did and then we'll have something to talk about

I did read your comment. It still doesnt change his statement that he feels we should be grateful he is potus. And BTW - shouldnt his actions in the job itself inspire "magic" or motivation to get and vte for him a second time? Not some mamby pamby bogus shit that fooled people the first time around?

I did! Obama lamented that his job would be easier if he was POTUS of China.

I am not saying that he shouldn't focus on the economy... but I showed a chart before that shows the entitlements for the poor (the programs) vs. the entitlements for the rich (tax breaks)
I am not saying he's doing some bang up job... he's not... but so far, NO ONE... I mean NO ONE has shown a plan that I consider better.
You all talk about cutting spending and I'm with it, but be honest... WHO is really talking about cutting spending on the 3 places where it matters?
NO ONE.
The farmers get tons of subsidies... That is helping keep food costs low right?
The gas prices, we already don't agree on, I say the cost is artificial, you say it's Obama's fault... We will never agree on that.
Other commodities I see the exact same way.

I can't find the quote from Obama so post it again or post a link to your prior post

How are tax breaks an entitlement? You have to pay taxes to get a tax break, you don't have to do anything to get an "entitlement" of course other than scam the system or be "poor". I don't think the federal government should be involved, their responsibility is to the nation as a whole not the individual. The "entitlements" should be left up to the states.
From what I can tell about farm subsides, the government pays farmers not to grow food, what sense does that make?
I did not say gas prices are Obama's fault, his policies are not helping, but in the big picture it is manipulation of supply etc, and the ME "crisis" at this point. The POTUS can either push for more domestic production or ask the Saudi's to up production, from what I can tell he has done neither.
The whole stock market is artificially inflated by the FED pumping money into it, giving the appearance that the economy is improving.
