RIO DE JANEIRO (AP) -- President Barack Obama didn't just take in Rio's famous tourist sites during his visit Sunday, instead making his first stop a notorious slum where police recently wrested control from a violent drug gang.

Residents crowded sidewalks, rooftops and balconies to wave as Obama's shining black limousine rolled through the narrow streets.

you hate obama for visitng poor children.

this has to be some kinda record.

you complain when he chills with billionaires, and you're mad when he visits poor kids.  you bitch when he gets involve with libya, ya bitch when he doesn't.


I think he could appoint you Czar of Everything and give you unlimted powers, and you'd be on getbig complaining that obama has too many czars.

BTW - when the last time he walked the slums of Bronx, Brooklyn, Compton, Camden, St. Louis, Chicago etc?

This doesn't bother me, but I do have a problem with him giving speeches over there without wearing a tie.  It's not like he's on a Texas ranch.  Doesn't look very presidential.
