During most days I shoot 200iu's of slin, drink liquid carbs and then go hunt boar with my army knife in order to release pent up aggression from shooting 5 grams of test a week and being very short.

Apropos: Branch is a cool dude so is Jay. It is not their fault that the homo judges reward this and dictate this mess. This is one of the most sickening cults I have ever seen.

Agree with Che

Dorian was the first one who looked noticeably thicker all through his physique.

Nubret had the best build of all time for my money.

Dorian 1993 was the transition.
And the exact moment: the black socks pics in Flex magazine.

Dorian 93 was probably the best, most complete Olympia winning physique, although there are guys who've won the title while being bigger or more muscular.

Of course, bar 95, Dorian never looked that good again, even though he deserved all his titles.

Dorian 1993 was the transition.

I've always thought that to be the case. And I never saw Dorian look better than he did in those pics.

Having that shoulder to waist differential...that "V" taper, is what attracted me to bodybuilding in the first place.

Real bodybuilding is about the pursuit of physical perfection, not mass at all costs. Now, I love to see extreme mass as much as the next fan. If a BB can pack on extreme mass and still keep a small waist and good proportions, I'm all for it. But, a mess like Branch is definitely not what bodybuilding is about!

what happened is back in the day you didnt have youtube and the whole planet walking around with cameras, you also didnt have 5000 message boards where update photos would be posted year round, so what you saw was photos of bodybuilders mostly when they where right before or after a show.

The mindset of "oh back in the day was better..." leave for the old people in nursing homes, they claim everything was better back in the day.

The transition occurred in 1992 Olympia with Dorian Yates!
Dorian Yates is the real father of insulin use in BB along with mega  doses of HGH and steroids.
The side effect of that kind of drug regiment became more obvious  in Dorian body  after the 93 Olympia when the loss (big gut and lack of aesthetic ) far exceed the gains (more muscle)

This horrendous plague upon today BB that we call "PALUMBISMO" did not start with Dave Palumbo but was initiated by Dorian Yates and took the name Palumbismo because Dave Palumbo was the most infamous exponent since he full displayed the plague until the last stage.
As we know the CAUSE of Palumbismo are the mega-doses of insulin, hgh, steroids in conjunction with overeating and the PHYSICAL RESULT of Palumbismo are big stomach with atrophied limbs and lack of muscle separation and detail.
