Kid is strong as hell for that bodyweight. :o
-
Ronnie Coleman who?
-
Pretty crazy lift IF they are all legit plates. Doing it with pants like that makes it harder too. Looks almost too easy in a way, but very nice if it truly is that much weight. I hesitate to question that, but with the nature of the internet, who knows?
-
Ronnie Coleman who?
Well, considering Ronnie did his after a strenuous back workout, and was 5 weeks out from the Mr. O, I wouldn't utter those words.
Dude is strong, no doubt, I give props where to him.

Yeah, but Ronnie used straps. Straps add 100 pounds to a dead of that weight without a doubt.
-
Holy shit.
-
I'd believe it, kid is big and pretty lean and is built perfectly for DLing.
-
amazing lift
-
not to mention he had a double overhand grip which makes that weight much harder to lift

again read what I wrote...It ain't no, "Yeah, but"
"Yeah, but that man has a rocket up his ass"
Give props to the man, but let's not downgrade Ronnie for doing what he is doing.
There was a kid I went to HS with who did a 700 pound squat...great, Hallalu-yah, but he ain't no Ronnie, Dorian, etc...he did one rep...
This kid is strong as a ox...

That was my first impression as well.

Hard to tell what's on the bar but I think it might be only 795 :o

You think this 18 y/o kid that is deadlifting 800lbs is looking towards his future of getting oiled up and posing in a thong to be judged by other men ???
Looks to me he's on the track to strength, not a glorified beauty pageant passed off as a "sport" to schmoes.

We never know, Levrone started out in the PLing realm, so did Francois, and Ronnie didn't have the plans hop on stage either...
And neither PLing or bbing is that lucrative these days.

Gotta be a World Record
-

Yeah, this was the part that impressed me the most.
-
Crazy strong, esp. with the age, no straps and overhand grip.
-
is that a world record for his bodyweight?
looks natural too
incredible
should compete in powerlifting
-
Fake weights. Wake up guys.
-
Awesome weegar strength. Masterful knowledge of falcon principles and hoes.
-
if that is really 800 I will broadcast myself cutting my balls off on youtube ::)

We can only hope.

Yep. Imagine what he would do if he had little muscle... fkin' 1600 lbs deadlift? LOL
-

People often say that ....but it's each to their own.
For me double overhand is harder as I've always done over-under.
But for many, double overhand is much easier.

Where do people buy these fake plates at that every impressive vid seems to have in it? ::)
-
Kids got plenty of videos on his channel. All fake plates? I wouldn't think so.
-
If legit, this is one of the most impressive lifts I seen in awhile. He's has that middle American, corn fed, retard strong thing going on. The grip strength at that age alone is amazing.

Yep I use straps on anything over 400, which I barely go over at the best of times...lol. Crazy fucking grip strength on that kid.
-
Get a grip and listen to dr. Dutch: fake.
-
I can't tell what's up with those odd colored plates, but if it is 800, as menetioned his grip strength is crazy. I've never seen anyone pull over 700 without a reverse grip. I think it's 790- 8 x 45's per side, a 10 and a 2.5.
-
He uses the hook grip, thumb under the fingers. It's stronger than a mixed grip but not many use it because it may be painfull on the thumbs.

Good call. Almost all Olympic lifters have used a hook grip for decades. It takes years to get comfortable using this grip, it is very unnatural at first and puts tremendous pressure on your thumbs.
-
Those aren't fake plates - that is a legit 800 pull.
You can tell by the way the bar bends - if the plates were half that amount the bar wouldn't bend in the way it did - an Olympic bar can support 1200lbs although the length of the bar stops this from being the case.
Damn impressive lifting.

any one here seen a guy called Tom Martin?
82.5kg (181 pounds), deadlifting 350kg (770 pounds)
