What you fail to realize is the government in this country was designed to derive its power from the people, not the DNC or RNC. On the other hand corps exist to make a profit, and they are going to do what it takes to make the most money they can. If the US government makes doing business in the US to expensive, they go over seas, plain and simple. The simple fact that lobbyist exist should tell you that the elected officials are for sale to the highest bidder. The fact that corps can do what they do without breaking any laws is very relevant. We have no one to blame but ourselves, after the civil war the states balls dropped off and the federal government took over, which was never the intention of the framers. Now we have an out of control federal government, spending money it doesn't have, and corporations who can buy elected officials for a pittance. When patriotism becomes a bad thing the mentality permeates that your country is the bad guy look what happens

The Constitution was made to limit the role of government.
We should go back to that and also re-write the Constitution to limit the role of big corps also.
