Post by: Roger Bacon on April 04, 2011, 11:10:31 PM
What kind of lifts are decent for a guy that weighs 190?

Bench?

If you're able to:

bench 300 lbs

squat 400 lbs

deadlift 500 lbs

as a natural 190 lbs than that's impressive.

Cue the 700 lbs bench pressers, 1000 lbs squaters, ect... ::)

Bodyweight on shoulder press or around 70% of what you bench.

1 1/2 X bw Bench.

2 X BW Squat.

2.5 X BW Deadlift.

I'd figure 85% of what you can bench you should be able to row.

Whatever you front squat for a triple you should be able to clean with enough practice.

Front squat should be in the 70 - 80% of back squat with practice.

These won't be World Beater numbers, but you'll be strong and balanced.
