According to the latest national NBC/WSJ poll, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney leads the hypothetical 2012 GOP pack with support from 21 percent of Republican primary voters -- followed by Trump and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee at 17 percent each, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich at 11 percent and former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin at 10 percent.
Former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty is at 6 percent, Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann gets 5 percent, former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum receives 3 percent and Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour gets 1 percent.
Strikingly, Trump -- who has received a considerable amount of attention for incorrectly stating that President Obama wasn't born in the U.S. -- finishes first among Tea Party supporters (at 20 percent), followed by Romney (17 percent), Huckabee (14 percent), Palin (12 percent) and Gingrich (9 percent).

Depends on how it is presented. Germany's and Frances system costs a third of what we pay. I am open to looking what they do on a fiscal savings basis. .

Why Donald Trump Is Surging in New Hampshire

According to a most recent poll, the unlikely Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has surged into second place in New Hampshire. His 21 percent support trails only Mitt Romney's 26 percent and easily tops the 12 percent registered by Newt Gingrich and Mike Huckabee.
It was Huckabee's weak-kneed performance in the face of the "birther" questions that induced me to write on March 4, "In the Republican spirit of free enterprise, I would recommend my new book, Deconstructing Obama . . . . The first Republican candidate to educate himself on this issue, and to turn the tables on his tormentors, will likely be the next president of the United States."
Little did I expect that candidate to be Donald Trump, but he has done exactly as I had hoped, and, better yet, he has pulled his talking points from my book.
There are, of course, any number of sources Trump could have drawn from on the question of Obama's manufactured nativity story. On two other key points, however, Trump clearly drew his inspiration from Deconstructing Obama.
Most notably, as Trump told Laura Ingraham and others, former terrorist Bill Ayers wrote the Obama memoir, Dreams from My Father, which Trump correctly identifies as the foundation of Obama's "genius" myth.
Of note, too, Trump was the first public figure to draw a distinction between the lyrical Dreams and Obama's workman-like second book, The Audacity of Hope, published in 2006. Trump even hinted at its likely author, referring to Obama's wunderkind speechwriter, Jon Favreau, as "a guy that's like a sophomore in high school."
Forgive my insistence on the subject of Obama's legitimacy, and my own role therein, but I continue to face stiff resistance from the more respectable corners of the conservative media, as has anyone who has dared question the official Obama orthodoxy.
This is all a "distraction," we are told, an "irrelevance" even. Distraction or not, Donald Trump's surge has surely proved the subject's relevance.

The only reason it is getting added attention is because of Donald Trump. If he proves, with good timing, Bama wasn't born in the USA he's a serious contenter for the nomination.

"How many people are in on it? Was palin in on it? The entire state of Hawaii?

I personally think at this point Obama Sr might not have been able to be his legal father on the long frm BC because apparently obama Sr. was married to another woman in Kenya at the time and thus the dunham/obama marriage was illegal.

I think your point that he and his whole family (like bushes) might work in intelligence is the most likely scenario.
In that case, I hate to tell you, but if his family spent their life fighting for US interests worldwide, you're not going to get much sympathy. If he was in pakistan blowing up bad guys and working for president Bush at the time (or whoever) - then he is a brave american and deserves a shot to be president way more than a 1 term mayor or yale jerkoff.
