MixFight.nl: Do you consider dropping to light heavyweight? And possibly fight Dan Henderson for the light heavyweight title?
Fedor: Yes I have talked about it with my manager Vadim Finklestein. But as far as I know, there is no offer made by Strikeforce to fight as a light heavyweight.
I guess he now knows that he can't hand with the big boys. ;D

Hendo would smoke him at light heavy.

Actually, he can. He just went 1-1 on 2 rounds against a 290 lbs monster at a bodyweight of 225 lbs. Sure, he lost, but he did win one of two rounds. Fedor is good enough to beat all the heavyweights up to 250 lbs, but the 280+ lbs are unbeatable for him, obviously. Fedor could beat 280+ lbs fighters back in PRIDE because they had serious holes in their games that he could exploit and he was younger and much more explosive and quick in making decisions. The 280+ lbs fighters today are well-rounded and would give serious trouble even for the Fedor of 2004. The Fedor of 2011 has little chance of beating these guys although he is able to hold his own.

Cain is only 10-15 heavier than Fedor and he would have no problem with Big Foot.

How do you know that? He has never fought anyone that big - and before you bring up Brock, he was only 260 lbs for his fight with Cain since he lost a lot of bodyweight due to his diverticulitis.

You keep saying that Brock only weighed 260 when he fought Cain. Why do you resort to making up lies? The FACT is that he weighed 264 at the weighins and stepped into the cage the next day close to 280.

I think Fedor should fight Lindland. He owes Lindland a rematch after cheating so badly in their last fight.
This time it will be in a cage and there will be no ropes to grab.

personally speaking (IMO) the biggest fight in MMA that could be made right now would be Fedor vs Hendo...
it's "THE" last big match up between pride fighters that's left...
Dana and Coker would be fools not to make this ASAP !

Why would that be such a big fight? I think people are losing interest in Fedor. He doesnt seem interested himself.I don think if Fedore goes down in weight and wins a title its going to mean so much considering what he done at HW.Like someone said earlier 'he cant go with the big boys anymore'.Thats pretty much what will be said. Its a no win situation for Fedor. He should stay at HW or call it quits IMO

It's crazy for anyone to think that Fedor would be able to find any success against the elite 205lb'rs. While he would not longer be grossly outsized, the speed advantage he enjoyed against under-skilled heavyweights would be gone against guys like Jones, Rashad, Machida, etc. Even a past his prime Henderson is a very dangerous fight for Fedor. If Fedor loses here, I will actually feel bad for the guy.
No joke here, I think Fedor's best weight would be at 185. All he would need to do is lean down to about 195-200 and then cut weight to 185. He would be a big middleweight and stand a much better chance against the top caliber in that division. AND, if he were to somehow get the belt, he could retire saying that in spite of really being a middle weight, he was able to dominate the heavyweight division for 5 years.
