Ron Paul fans plan May 5 'money bomb'
Ron Paul supporters are kicking off a fundraising drive billed as a debate day “money bomb” for the potential presidential candidate.
The goal of the fundraising push — patterned after the original money bomb that put the Texas congressman on the map in the 2008 race — is to showcase Paul's strength the day of the first debate of the White House campaign of the season.

Will Ron Paul get invited to participate in the televised debates this time?
Looks like there were 21 debates during the 2008 campaign. Ron Paul was invited to 19, chose not to participate in 2, and participated in 17.

If it was anyone else other than Ron, you wouldn't be as defensive as you are now. Your only part of a few handfuls of individuals that can't see that he was treated differently from the rest.

Defensive? ::) Outby43 asked whether Ron Paul would "get invited to participate in the televised debates this time." I simply pointed out how he was invited to 19 out of 21.
Whether he was treated "fairly" in all 19 is a different issue.

I've given him a couple hundred dollars already. I'm waiting until he officially announces he's running before I give him anymore cash. 90% sure he's gonna run though.

Subject: Meet Ron Paul in NYC, April 25th!
April 15, 2011
Dear 333386,
There is an outcry of support for less government, economic and social freedoms, sound money, and non-interventionist foreign policy these days, and in the center of it all is Congressman Dr. Ron Paul. Ron Paul is called the "Thomas Jefferson of our time" by Freedom Watch host Judge Napolitano. Ron Paul spearheaded the current liberty movement and Tea Party with his historic 2008 Presidential run and inspired millions to speak up and change the conversation toward upholding the Constitution and American values.
On April 25th, Campaign for Liberty's Honorary Chairman Ron Paul will be visiting NYC promoting his new book, Liberty Defined. He will be be a guest on The View, Colbert Report, and Stossel, plus he will have a book signing at 1PM at McNally Jackson Bookstore in SOHO at 52 Prince Street, NY, NY 10012.
To celebrate his trip to the Big Apple, that evening we are throwing a big party for Ron Paul — and you are invited!
See Dr. Ron Paul in person, with special guest speaker Peter Schiff and others at Webster Hall in Manhattan, at 8 PM. Dress for success. Tickets are $20 at the door.
