drinking Red Wine?
It would be nice if this were true, if only because I have no desire to drink wine every day.
Thanks for the info. :)
-
Fuck, I have to exact opposite problem. Wish I didn't have the desire to drink wine everyday.

I just don't like drinking too much alchohol; plus having a cup of grape juice would be decent fuel before a workout whilst cleaning out the arteries.
From what I understand, it should have identical effects, because the HDL benefits stems from the skin of the red grape.

Probably not unless you're making it fresh or something. Most of the store-bought stuff is so processed that there isn't a lot left besides sugar and water.

That's too bad.
I guess you can't believe what's on a box.

Just eat fresh grapes. Also the most perfect fast carb for your postworkout shake.

Look into a resveratrol supplement.

Probably the simplest solution...

Resveratrol is much more expensive than grapes. Be my guest though.

Druiven zijn beter dan dure supplementen.

research raises the possibility that it's the anthocyanins in red wine that confer heart health benefits and apparently, our bodies can absorb those anthocyanins more easily from red grape juice than from red wine.

I starting to admire Tito's ability to introduce non-topical but yet amusing contributions to practically every thread on GB. Goed gedaan jochie.

That ought to fit nicely into any getbigger's budget ;D

Re: Does drinking (red) grape juice have the same HDL health related benefits as
From what I understand, alcohol dramatically increases the absorption of resvaratrol. So drinking grape juice is not as effective as drinking wine to increase HDL.

If you're going to drink juice you should get a juicer and make it yourself. Fruit juice oxidizes really fast and sitting around on store shelves is not helping.

Grand Cru red Burgundy (pinot noir). Best wines in the world. Period.

Good for you. Welcome to the fold.
What's up Deicide?

how much?
Above 300€ and can go above 500€ (depending on the vintage) for this one which is Domaine Leroy (you have to be very areful with Burgundy wines as there's a difference between "domain" wines and "negociant" wines as the same winemaker can do both). If you're talking grand cru in Burgundy, expect those type of prices for DRC, De Vogüe, Emmanuel Rouget, Méo-Camuzet and Leroy.

Unfortunately not, and by good dumps I specifically mean the ones that entail a great release and are clean exit ones, i.e. very little wiping afterwards. How are your dumps going?
