flex magazine dec. 2002.. dorian was asked to describe nasser,.. he answered:
"He could match me or even beat me on size and thickness-with the exception of his one glaring weakness, his back-in 1996 and 1997. As for personality, we never clicked on any level."..
i agree with him that at their best nasser was thicker in all parts except the back area.. it's really laughable a lot of dorian boys keep saying nasser was big but not as thick as dorian!!.. dorian himself doesnt agree with you boys..

actually IMO Dorian always looked flat at the olympias (97 could be the exception), the only time he looked full on stage was on those european gps

actually IMO Dorian always looked flat at the olympias (97 could be the exception), the only time he looked full on stage was on those european gps
case in point: mr olympia and german gp 96
Dorian look 2x thicker at the german gp, and he is still bone dry, just take a look at the mans cheeck, looks like a cancer fuckin terminal cancer patient!

in 97 nasser was better than dorian even in dorian's trademark poses like the FLS!!.. both were about 270 pounds but we all know where most of yates weight was concentrated.. yes his big back and his very big belly ;D

Nasser, Dillett, and most big guys....only good from the front. This is evidence of lack of mind muscle connection, and only ego lifting...Not truly trying to be complete...
these are pro. and sure they did everything possible to improve their weak points but it's a genetics sport after all and sure dillett's back genetics didnt help him to make it go with his other great parts and the same can be said about dorian's shoulders and whu he couldn't make them as good as levrone's!!..

Dillett was a pumper---he didn't even try to learn how to pose...and he jumped in to get his Pro card after his stinit in the CFL, it's not like he spent time learning how to lift correctly and pose correctly...

It is well known that Kevin had the best Shoulders of all times bodybuilders, so please don't even think of talking about that issue and concentrate more on your issue with Dorian's fans ;D

His vids are consistent, just pumping....now I don't know each and everyday...but he says he doesn't squat...and he was always advocating volume....
He never really got cut up until he started working with Chad, both he and Flex said Flex introduced him to Chad, and he looked diff at the 97 Arnold.
When he trained back, it was just "up-down, up-down", no real squeeze.
And he must have been in a shit load of pain when training delts, as he had said the doctors had told him he had virtually no cartilage in his rotator cuff

He was pretty full in '95 but I would say you have a point, Dorian always seemed to be ready to sacrifice size and fullness at the O' for the extra conditioning. It worked for him though I'm pretty sure that by playing it safe he never did show his best on stage.

Nasser from the front was phenomenal and in some poses from the front there is no doubt he beat me. But from the side he is very narrow and from the back there is no comparison really. You have to look at it logically. Let's say he beat me in the front relaxed pose and the front double bicep.
I will give him this. Did he beat me in the side triceps? No. In either of the back poses? No. Abs and thighs was close. So no, I don't think he deserved to win although he did look very good that year. But he looked good from certain angles. Some physiques you can't judge from a photograph; you have to be there.
Everyone who sees my physique in person always comments on how much better I look in person than in pictures. That's because my physique is thick and developed from all angles. From the front, from the back, from the side, standing on my head: it doesn't matter. Everywhere is fully developed from every angle. And this might not show in one-dimensional photos. When you turn somebody to the side and they are twice as thick as everyone else, then that shows up.

I wasn't aware of this debate, as I don't spend a lot of time looking into these kinds of things. These sites are usually for guys who live at home with their mum and don't have anything better to do. But (concerning a comparison with Nasser) I was not the best from all angles and not from the front - the front double biceps and relaxed pose.
He probably beat me in those poses, but the rest? No. But that might be the only thing that people look at when they view the comparisons: the front double biceps or just standing there relaxed.

dorian,clearly beat nasser in 97,that was probably the best nasser ever loked though,and remember with all the injuries he had that year,dorian wasnt able too train all out,the last 6 weeks.
