One of the reasons a officer had given me was that dudes in prison have basically all day to work out...not including lifting...whereas you and me...or even a cop, don't. So, when they get out, and if you have ever seen dudes when they get of out prison---these dudes are cut the hell up and big as shit...Advantage: Criminal

That's kind of an old 'wives tale'... you can read about where that started "back in the day" -- check out the book "Cop" by Middleton.
Supposedly these guys would get so huge that you couldn't cuff their hands behind their backs. These stories defy everything that is being done and told these days.
All attributed to lifting heavy weights all day long.
I would say these guys probably got a lot stronger and more cut with a little more size, but that whole thing about coming out of prison looking like Ronnie Coleman on the Olympia stage just seems so far-fetched. (I know it wasn't said here)- but that was the general consensus.
You figure what really happened was these guys went into prison as twinks. They got noticeably more "fit" and of course, bigger, but not to where they wouldn't fit in cars and couldnt move about.
If that is what really happens, then why don't we see it?
I would love to see pictures of these past "menaces to society" that managed to get weight lifting ousted from the State Prison Systems.
Even in Pumping Iron, when Arnie went to visit and kiss those inmates, there wasnt anyone that was huge beyond belief.
In that movie with Adam Sandler and the football team all prisoned up, they basically relive the whole "jacked-beyond-belief" scenario.
The prison guards are the ones depicted as using steroids. I think one guy actually reaches into his locker and grabs a bottle that just say's "steroids' on it... only to have those pills replaced with estrogen later.
I've looked for old time pics (60's and 70's) for the whole huge inmate scenario, can't find any proof.
Don't worry about critiquing my post, I'm in "falling asleep" mode. (Obviously...)

actually, I have personally seen it...I have had dudes in front of me who have done a bid, and could easily win Mr. getbig without dieting. The head of DMI (Dead Men Inc) is a big wide as hell white dude who lifts. I have asked a prison nurse who used to work at Rikers about it, and she said that there were tons of ripped up dudes there (who were engaging in prison love), even Palumbo has done articles on it, where he had a brotha that was a lifer that had size and cuts. There are tons of them out there...this not the 60s or 70s, where working was not wide spread...also I posted a vid with Brian Pumper who was being coached by Tookie's brother, and he explained what the deal was with the weights, and there you go, another example---Tookie...
You see when you are locked up, you have nothing but time on your hands---and you know it's funny, but Titus looks like a doughboy now, one would think he would be in shape---doing push ups, dips, cruches, flying dragons, muscle ups...he's not going anywhere for awhile.

just watch one episode of "lock up", douche nozzle. not all, but very often a huge mfer walks by the camera. i didn't even know mexicans could get that big until i watched the show.

You don't have to lift all day long, you can take your hour or half hour and get it in. And you can work out in your cell. Try doing pushups with your legs up against the wall...diff angles give diff loads on the pecs and triceps...cell mate can sit on your back, while doing push ups, etc. You can do flying dragons on your bed.

True, you can only get so big, so that's when slowing the reps down or doing three point pushups come in and the cell mate...so, one hour of time in the prison gym and X amount in the cell...it can add up...
As far as the legal or illegal thing with cops, I'm a little on the fence...it's kinda like a cop not arresting for a lil bit of weed, but then arresting you if you are drug dealer...a lil bit of weed is still against the law, but really who cares? But if you have weed out the ass and are a big time dealer, you can't just sweep that under the rug...
So, you have cops who juice to get bigger to take down the the big bad jacked criminals, now if you have cops selling roids, then that is another thing altogether...

That's what so infuriating about the law. Virtually every month you read on BOS about some nobody getting busted for personal use and more often than not these guys aren't exactly monsters. Then you have an unworldly freak like Coleman walking around and nobody touches him. And one of the main reasons he became so rich and famous is the use and abuse of hormones and peptides. A level that none of these guys who have had their lives ruined with a criminal record ever came close to.

The article about him didn't say how long he had been locked up, but it did talk about how had hadn't eaten with the other prisoners for more than 8 years, so he was locked up longer than that. I doubt he was on much of a cycle locked up for all that time.

Because I was able to prove that I was on HRT and under a doctor's care all original charges were dropped. It did require a letter from my doctor as well as copies of my medical records. I did get a warning and a misdemeanor charge which was eligible to be expunged after 3 years which I had done back in Oct. of last year.
In a State that is on the verge of bankruptcy, so much so that they have "Furlough Fridays, where teachers and State workers, with the exception of emergency employees (cops, firemen...), get every other Friday off without pay to cut cost and slow down (not stop or eliminate) the every growing debt, they can still manage to come up with the funds to crack down on middle age men getting treated with a naturally occurring hormone. I should have asked one of the cops, who is an active amateur competitive bodybuilder how he gets his gear.

I don't have a problem with anybody using steroids. I don't have a problem with anybody doing anything to themselves as long as it doesn't effect others against their wills. You own your body and it's nobodies business what you do to it. Having said that I agree with this post. If you are going to make it illegal make it illegal for everybody. Coleman should have been put on surveillance for probable cause and then busted. If enough big shots, athletes, politicians, Hollywood stars get busted then maybe they'll see how absurd the law is in the first place.

That still sucks ass. You're now on the "radar", so to speak, and you still have a criminal record (even though it was expunged, the arrest record is still out there and can be accessed by FAR TOO MANY assholes that shouldn't have the right to do so). It feels so much better when you can honestly say you've never been arrested, and it makes it so there's NO probable cause for any further delving by the cops when they cross your path.

Yes, it is absolutely infuriating. That's why I was surprised to see you in other threads, making arguments for the neoconservative bullshit that allows for this sort of thing to happen. It's all about focusing on the little guy while the scumbags engineer the system to pay fewer and fewer (and fewer yet) taxes, while the masses all turn on one another in desperation. Having a ridiculously overdone police presence is all part of that game.
