I started doing hill sprints. feel great. .. I only do this 3 times a week should I be doing other cardio on off days?
switched over to kettlebells 4 weeks ago been doing the hill sprints for 2 weeks in my third week now.
I'll go back to regular weights in 3 weeks. wanna continue the hill sprints till it gets cold out.

There's quite a bit of clinical research to suggest that "HIT-style" cardio is more effective for muscle-sparing fat-loss than the conventional low-intensity cardio done for longer periods.
The Tabata protocol seems to have caught on even more over the last few years.
Tabata cardio is often recommended doing about three times per week, and hill sprints are a good choice of exercise for taxing the body this way.
JPM is a big Tabata advocate, and could probably answer any other questions you have regarding it, if interested.

do bear crawls up the hills you sprint up too ;D

If you just want to burn some cals they are fine by themself.
If you want some cardiovascular adaptations I'd add in some slower aerobic work.
