If you’re a true fan of bodybuilding, fitness and/or figure competition and every aspect of the industry that encompasses those sports, certain Web sites should be at the top of your favorites list. Getbig.com is definitely one of them. You can spend hours a day on the site and never see the same thing twice. There are videos, articles, contest results, gossip columns, interviews and more. Best of all, Getbig.com is always up to date with the latest happenings, unlike similar sites, which are often months behind. In addition, the Getbig discussion board is one of the largest and most heavily trafficked of any on the Web, with almost 19,000 members and close to 1.5 million posts on thousands of topics. Many of the IFBB’s elite frequent the Getbig boards, enabling you to interact with great champions and industry insiders. Seriously, I could write a book about Getbig; however, it would not only take up too much space but also cause me to miss my next meal (and that just can’t happen). Half the guys here don't even train and the majority of the topics have nothing to do with bodybuilding. And the few that do only serve to ridicule the perverted circus it has become.

I have to disagree. This board reflects the state of the Pro ranks today which is dog shit. Several years back when Shawn, Lee, Chris, Kevin, etc were competing, the board was a bbing mecca, not that dog shit gym on the east coast. really, who the fuck wants to take about jay, phil, kai and the other ass clowns in the pro ranks? Dad of the Fat Son has messed up the pro divison by handing out pro cards like halloween candy to the point there isn't 1 really dynamic or interesting pro to follow. And this is. Go look at the teen boards at bbing.com. Those guys dont even follow the current pros the way guys yrs back would follow their favorites.
Anyway, fuck it, i'll keep posting trannies than spend my thread posts talking about phil heath, his piano and 8 meals per day which RamFag recommends.

This...and all for what, more money? Due to flooding the Pro ranks with poor quality, the quality of the competitions is laughable...The NPC is supposed to be a quality control mechanism---it's why Dwve Palumbo couldn't win a Pro card in the 90s...

That was my point. But maybe in a sense we really are true fans of bodybuilding in the way it use to be and should be practiced which is why we bemoan, bash and criticize what it has become today. It is not bodybuilding anymore.

Excellent post pellius. Before I came to getbig I thought everyone involved in bbing was just as brainwashed as the guys at T-nation, BBing.com, etc.
