is fine for conditioning the heart and lungs....
but for fat loss.....it comes down to lowering your cals....
plain and simple.....i can do cardio til the cows come home....but if my cals are too high
i won't see any appreciable fat loss......what say you?

In my opinion cardio, particullary running, not jogging, but running. Really helps one to get a finished and polished physique. But I can only say this from a lifetime naturals perspective.

I remember eating as clean as a whistle while training for a contest but lost no weight and only minimal fat...........had to decrease portions to see results .
I`m talking clean eating here,so yes,calories must be lowered.

Dizzy may use certain other "things" that may facilitate fat loss on that many calories.
Wes, I've noticed the same issue, though.
Some guys seem able to pull it off for whatever reason, but being natural - and with my metabolism, etc. - I've got to cut back on portions of even the "good" cals if I want to move beyond a certain point.
And, that's even with doing cardio.

I think in my case,my metabolism has slowed a lot since I got older......used to have the metabolism of a fucking hummingbird when I was younger.

Agreed! I was doing an hour of cardio per day for months and eating real clean with no results... It was my portions that were killing me. Cut down the portions, now I'm on track with fat loss. Just gotta watch and be sure I don't lose any gains
