Bodybuilder: Lifts weights specifically for improving the looks of his entire body for competitive purposes.
Beach Bodybuilder: Lifts weights to look good, not really concerned with "being complete".
Powerlifter: Lift for strength in the 3 main exercises.
PowerBuilder: Train for strength in every exercise, showing concern for "showy" bodyparts.
Strongman: Train for functional strength with all out intensity to move heavy, odd shaped objects at any cost.
What kind of lifter do you consider yourself?
-
When I lift, I lift for looks and strength, with great form.

I'm more concerned about the look than I am strength!
But its more about looking a certain way for me, the competition comes second to that! Not the other way around!

You need to add a couple more categories
Schmoe: Doesn't necessarily train and often fat/obese, but is "interested" in bodybuilders bodybuilding
Tiny Tit: Doesn't lift heavy and looks like they'd lose the "Most Muscular" award in a concentration camp posedown, but discuss and give out advice on lifting & nutrition endlessly
-

You forgot to mention member of TEG and THG. ;)
-
I train to be prepared for the upcoming societal collapse. Weightlifting, running, backpacking, shooting. All of these disciplines will be necessary for survival in the coming years.
-
You forgot to mention member of TEG and THG. ;)
Tell me about the teams again - I remember THG, TGG and TEG, but not sure if I'm missing something :D

You forgot TBG. That's it; any more categories and it becomes confusing.
-
You forgot TBG.
The B standing for?
Maybe you should also have TAG, for the average skinny (fat) person
-
i train legs which puts me in the 1 percent of lifters
-
You are crazy if you think the number is even that high... :-\
Suppose you're right. Was deadlifting tonight and the squat racks was deserted, yet again. Legs is the only bodypart I can train without having to wait for the area to clear from twinks and gays.

LOL, you aren't huge, but you aren't that small either.
I was referring to the guys who look like they never work out, but want to know stuff like what brand of protein is the best and such.
-
Powerbuilder.

The other day I tried using the word 'Schmoe' in a scrabble game - it wasn't accepted! I was pissed! lol
-
The only GH15 lifts is a syringe 3 times a day to his ass. Lol

Permabulker: Trains primarily for looks, but never diets down due to fear of being small or out of incompetence
Pumper: Upper arms and chest only, esp with synthol, implants, or site injections - sometimes calves too to help "complete the package".
-
Powerbuilder
Train to be strong, muscular and relatively lean. I couldn't be bothered with the extreme levels of low bodyfat that bodybuilders diet down to.
And combining powerlifting style training with bodybuilding.
-
You forgot TBG. That's it; any more categories and it becomes confusing.
?
TEG=Team Elite Genetics
TGG=Team Good Genetics
TNG=Team Normal Genetics
TPG=Team Poor Genetics
THG=Team Horrible Genetics
Where do you belong? ???
-
?
Heh, thanks, been a while since that time, good you straightened that out! ;D
