I believe Phil has the Flex Wheeler Paradox---which is, he looks "good", but not freaky enough to win the big one...that is what happened to Flex in 93, 98, 99...the first two he was slightly off, the last time he was on, but Ronnie was too big and too freaky---even though Flex had better lines. And guess what happened? Flex broke down, he found out he ran into a wall...
Phil came on the scene and won his first two Pro Shows, and I don't remember if he won anything else, so correct me, but he has placed very high in other contests...and people, including me have said he is a future Mr. O, and his name is almost written on the Sandow...so it would seem, just like Flex...
And just like Flex, Phil has great arms, great back detail, great delts, good legs, okay chest, lacks width...he doesn't have Flex's shape, nor his mystique.
And just like Flex, he lacks the freaky mass to win over guys like Kai...so where does that put Kai and Phil's friendship/rivalry?
Your call, am I correct?

yea sure

outed ;D

Kai, Branch, and Jonnie Jackson are the only guys that train in a similar fashion to Ronnie.
Heath train more like Flex and Jay.

Kai trains sensibly (by that i mean not retarded weight). and does a lot of obscure isolation moves. i don't feel his style resembles Ronnie's. Kai is much more conscious i feel of body mechanics. where as Ronnie was just about putting up "heavy ass weight" no matter how/no matter what muscles he employed.

It's hard to say. You're comparing grapefruits to ninjas.

I think you make a very good point.
Kai has the most hanging muscle since Ron and is a very hard trainer. If he keeps improving will be unbeatable (like Ronnie)
Phil has that detail, arms and lines, plus made a big splash when he burst on the scene. (like Flex)
If they both nail it in September it will go down to the wire.

With Kai placing 7th at last years Olympia, many people are now doubting his ability to be one of the top 5 in the world. New York is less than three weeks away, we shall see if he is serious in going after Phil Heath and others. I hope so because with his mind and will, we know that he can.

Phil is going to be the next Mr. Olympia, it should have happened last year.
The Mr. Olympia contest is not just a physique contest, if it was we wouldn't have a refrigerator as the current champion.
