I just took a solid week off from lifting.
Now i'm hitting back and bi's, I look MUCH BETTER than I did before the layoff.
Rest is key. Long rests are good. A week of rest each month works wonders.
All these idiots who say that "you start losing muscle after 5 days away from the gym" don't know shit. I'm a walking contradiction to that theory.
I'm looking swole as fuck. Lots of new veins wrapping around the biceps. Serious improvement after a week of rest.
3 weeks on, 1 week off. Great regimen for a natural weight lifter.
"Big" BFRS. God of all natural bodybuilding.

Recovery is key for a natural and keep up your aerobics with whores.

yes sometimes its way more productive to not train instead of to train

Well man, one of those "idiots" who said that was gh15 :-X

I wouldn't do 1 week off every 3 weeks, maybe every 8th week or something.
An extra rest day between trainings can never hurt though. :)

A missed workout is one you can never make up.

A week is PLENTY of time too take off. I remember a few years ago, i grew up some courage and took a month off and felt great when i started training again.
-
haha...yes thats actually true..I have rested many times for a week and returned to gym leaner (!) and more motivated..strange.

Did this happen when you were clean or when you were enhanced?

both!

both!
Interesting, but that's not what my OCD/addictive personality wanted to hear ;D So how's about you change your story and say that one needs to train nearly every goddamn single day to have a very conditoned physique ;)
-
Well man, one of those "idiots" who said that was gh15 :-X
gh15 knows his shit about steroids. But he don't know shit about natural lifting.
He may be the God of hormones. But he seems like he's out of touch when it comes to natural lifting. most of the stuff he says about natural lifting seems way off to me.

Maybe so man, but he also claims to train lifetime naturals, and I don't think that he's bullshiting about it.

I think the naturals gh15 trains are in an extremely muscular condition that is very, very hard to maintain probably and that's why they lose muscle quick.
He's probably got his guys at 5'8, 180 and shredded. He's probably got them pushed way beyond their genetic limits, that's why they lose it quickly.
I'm not trying to get THAT extreme, i'm just lifting and getting my swolez on. gh15 is in the extreme world of people competing on stage in ball slings. I'm just trying to impress the bitchez when my shirt comes off. gh15 is trying to get his guys up to the most elite levels in the whole world.

Exactly.
It's not about hom much you work out. It's about how well and how smart you work out.

Depends on how long you been training and if you use GEAR. I took a whole year off of training/eathing healthy and lost alot of size/strength but MUSCLE MEMORY is DEFINATELY REAL, after about a month into training again, even though my strength was wayy down, my definition was coming back very quickly. Im sure its differant with people who take GEAR and been training for many years. Look at LEVRONE, he stopped training for what like 4-5years?? and after a couple months of training, he had a decent physique.

I remember Levrone going up and down in muscular weight during the years he was competing. I always wondered how fast a natty could regain his size after not training for a longer period of time..

Thank you for your insight. Tim Wetcock is a wealth of brologic and exercise science delivered in the form of sayings reminiscent of a Confucius Zen Master. ;D

I know that, but RSBF cannot afford to miss even a minute out of the gym.

I always look better after 1 week without training. However after 3 weeks I start to losing muscle very fast. Althought I don't have a lot to lose lol

I've taken a couple of "long" breaks through the years. If I stopped training for about 4-5 months I needed almost the same amount of time just to look the same as before the layoff. It's not worth it!
-
blackflag: no offense dude but you never had any muscle to begin with, you're about as jacked as a broom handle

gh 15 has no clue what hard working natural bodybuilders builders are all about. Fact He however has a spectacular presence hiding behind a keyboard spewing the "what AS can do for you too"!
This guy is a real tool!

You look great, beautiful lines and symmetry. Like a body molded out of granite. Congrats!!!!
STAY/REMAIN/BE/SEE/ACT/ACCENTUATE POSITIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
