This is Jason Griffiths a UK powerlifter who although he s never done any fighting training of ANY kind claims hed "kick the shit out of Tyson and most of these UFC guys cos i deadlift 300kg id just throw em all over the place!

That's one of the biggest misconceptions. That being strong makes you a good fighter. I'm sure GSP and Pac Man couldn't bench 300lbs. I'm sure they have the power to punch harder than most 500lbs benchers.
The physical attributes to be a good fighter is power and conditioning. Strength is a small part of the equation. Of course having the skill/knowledge plays a major role.
Strength without conditioning is useless. A big strong guy that can't run around a block will gas out quick grappling with someone.
