lmao this should be good.

Goes top show that the NPC is slowly turning its back on bodybuilding now and supporting mens bikini more. Look how pathetic the turnout for bodybuilding is. It is awful. Mens bikini is like womens bikini - it literally destroyed figure/bodybuilding it goes to show how much loyalty the NPC has for bodybuilding and figure. Bodybuilding is dead - it is over it is done.

womens bikini it literally destroyed figure
::)
That's why there are more FIGURE women than any other division? Apparently math isn't your strong point.

It all depends on what contest. Men's Bodybuilding is doing just fine, with the NPC Contra Costa last week here in California having 50+ competitors in Men's Bodybuilding. Men's Physique (this is the first contest where some will turn pro) is something that lets competitors who are in shape but don't want to get too muscular compete. Different type of physique for the body.
Womens Figure is thriving, even more than bikini, because there are major differences between the two - just go to a contest and check it out. As for Women's Bodybuilding, different story. But Women's Physique just may draw the line between what classic women's bodybuilding was 15+ years ago. We shall see where it ends up.
Will be interesting to see who the new IFBB pro's will be this weekend!

It's a strong possibility that due to the general, adverse, public opinion pertaining to professional bodybuilders ... the national supplement companies may be giving somewhat more attention to this new Physique Division and its overall winners.
Even if that turns out not to be the case, this new Division offers a great amount of national publicity and recognition to the guys who want to compete but don't want to do what is required to compete among the bodybuilding contenders.
I would not be too darn surprised to see these new Physique Division champions receive supplement contracts that would have been offered to bodybuilding pros prior to the start-up of this new NPC Division.
It will be interesting to see how this proceeds over the next couple of years.
In my humble opinion, there are at least three GetBiggers who could definitely be top contenders for a Physique Division Pro Card ..... but as far as I know .... only one is giving it serious consideration .... and that one GetBiggers should/could/would WIN It!!!
I'll leave it up to him to name himself.

YEP! One GetBigger is entered in the Physique Division and I'll be darn surprised if he doesn't get that Pro Card.
I have not been reading much of the Boards lately but it's time to wish Kevin Perod (Texas) the best of luck and, "Bring that pro card back to Texas!".
Kevin never brags about himself but he is definitely one of the best contenders on this board and even within the US ..... whether he competes in the new Physique Division or within any NPC bodybuilding contest.
With a slight change in his training and his diet and a determined attitude, he could compete in either one and win it.
GOOD LUCK, KEVIN.
