Why are you so driven about this society thing, Flag ?

Because corruption is out of control. Things are bad, really bad. In the past 10 years things have taken a huge turn for the worse.

Lots and lots and lots and lots of people KNOW that things are bad. And they are just waiting for the opportunity to do something about it. I've read too many books about politics and society and it's lead me the the conclusion that a revolutionis necessary. Otherwise the world will slowly turn into one big dictatorship and lots and lots of people will be impoverished and suffer.

We don't need big brother. We don't need a nanny government. We don't need most of the shit we have. We can live better without it all. Most people think they need it because it's all they know, but they don't need it.

Most of the suffering and problems in this world is caused by government and big corporations. That's a fact.

America was built on revolution. Early American presidents supported revolution against tyrants. The early Americans were ready to thro down if liberties were taken away.

Now we are told to just shut up and take it. They tell you that you are a "terrorist" if you consider these things.

How did we become this? How did we change from tigers to sheep?

Greed and materialism always will eventually be a downfall = The Roman Empire as one example.

Most people are brainwashed into the capitalist game.

I just had coffee with a couple such people. They just think everything is fine and dandy and think everything is as it should be.

I seriously don't see how people can be so blind.

It's like there's something in human psychology that makes people avoid facing ugly truths. Something that makes people really really want to believe that everything is ok.

The revolution's coming post-2016. Obama's got work to do sweeping out the filth first. After that, we are tearing this mutherfucka down.

I agree but freedom requires being able to act in responsible manner...  few are able to do so.
It's a hen and egg problem with the mass of idiots out there - stupid born or made stupid by the government?

Yeah, your continued talk of "anarchy" sounds like such a great thing to strive for. ::)

I'm not saying things can't be improved in the U.S. Obviously there are problems. Just look at gas prices.

But, if there's a better place with more opportunity, point it out to me.

People aren't crossing the border into Mexico, are they?

I'm eating well. Employed. And feel safe. Good luck with your revolution.

Obama didn't get my vote, and he won't again.

The only revolution I'm signing up for is what the Tea Party has been pushing. We need new leadership.

 Yes, people are selfish.

As long as they are personally doing well, they will try to keep a broken system going just so they don't rock the boat for themselves and their family.

The current system is not an American thing, it's a worldwide thing.

About 5-10% of the people on this globe benefit. The rest get fucked hard.

And nobody gives a shit about the fact that corporations are completely destroying the environment. Currency manipulation is keeping us poor and it is disguised as the natural contraction of the economy. The government is basically just acting as muscle for the corporations to keep doing their business at this point. The US military..... do I even need to get started on that one.

I seriously think most people have no idea how this system really works. They just don't understand it. And they also don't understand the environmental impact that we are having right now and what it's effects will be down the road.

The only thing that most Americans care about is what's happening under their roof and in their bank account. Anything outside of that bubble is unimportant to them.

Is there a reason why that matters in this situation? I don't see any reason.

 I am an American.

if youre not born into money in this country you have a very slim chance of ever being rich.  Your best bet is to work closely to someone who is rich so you can reap the benefits of being rich without having any of the problems.

What about the many immigrants who legally went to the US and built a fortune over time through hard work?

Nope. Knoxville ain't gonna happen. Gonna go somewhere else.

Someday all the poor people in the USA are gonna grow some balls and fight back. It'll happen. And when it does I bet the government will murder them just like what's happening in Libya right now.

The government is terrorizing us. Threatening us. Making us walk in line. It's gotten really bad. But people have just settled with it.

Hard to start a fight if there is only one person....

A true revolution can be blogged about, forumed, you tubed, etc....but sooner or later you need to pound the ground. Hard to ground pound if you aint here.

See the relevance?

I have to laugh when people ask why there's no revolt in the U.S.

Maybe because this is what it's like to be "Poverty Stricken" in America (According to the U.S Census):

•76 percent have air conditioning.
•66 percent have more than two rooms of living space per person.
•97 percent own at least one color television.
•62 percent have either cable or satellite television.
•Almost 75 percent of households own a car (30 percent own two or more).
•73 percent own microwave ovens.
•More than 50 percent have stereos.
•33 percent have automatic dishwashers.
•99 percent have refrigerators.
•Virtually none lack running water or flushing toilets.
•46 percent own their own home, the average of which is a three bedroom house with 1.5 baths, that has a carport and porch or patio, and the average value of which is 70 percent of the median American home.

These conditions would be considered "Living like a King" to most people in the world.

Stop posting on Getbig 15-20 times a day. Be productive, and you'll have more.

didnt say it was impossible, just the odds are very slim.  My 1st cousin Robert Rosenkranz is a fine example of that.  Got a quality education and applied it, now he's one of the most powerful billionaires in the country.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Rosenkranz (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Rosenkranz)

Great post, couldn't agree more.

Life for me is getting better and better each year and my family and friends are all doing good as well.   Sure things could be better but in the end we are far better off then most out there.

Quit talking all this nonsense.

The poor people I see every day deserve to be poor due to their own actions and choices.

I see lazy people all day long who simply want hand outs and don't want to put in a hard days work to earn a little extra and shout the same shit that you do.

As an individual the most you can do is better your life and help everyone around you and good things will come.  Asking for choas in the streets really wont help anyone.

I'm not asking for chaos in the streets.

I'm asking for the people to retake control of the government.

You must be ignorant to the dynamics of governments, corporations, currency, banks, wars, etc. if you see no problems.

Some of poor people are lazy. Lots of them just give up because they don't have a fighting chance in this system. They are angry and frustrated, but not educated about the ways of the world and don;t know where to direct their hostility. So they have a lot of misdirected hostility.

It's not their fault. They are just products of the system. Change the system and that whole culture will end.

If they would toss in legalizing drugs and stopping the money we waste on it... Releasing the drug offenders from prison and stop the almost police state, then their position would be damn near perfect.
