Yes i know im late. but, i just saw ep. 17 of the biggest loser on tivo. Was Rulon Gardner really disqualified?

I heard rumors that he was really disqualified and they made him quit. Dude doesn't seem like a quitter, especially have talking all the stuff about never quitting. ???
