I love the Brits.....They are always so civil. A British dude could walk in on you pummeling his woman's vagina and he would be like "Um, Portia...could i have a word when you are done here?

Haha - I love Americans stereotypes of us Brits - it couldn't be more wrong. I don't know a single person from the UK who talks like that - you only get people who talk like that down in the Home Counties, which are all the affluent areas just outside of London - try coming to Birmingham, Manchester or Liverpool and you'll have a completely different outlook on the British way of life.
To answer the question of the original poster, I hate the term "special relationship" as much as the next person, but culturally, politically, and economically I'd rather be more aligned with the Yanks than any country in Europe - we don't have jack shit in common with any of them.
