Royal monikors don't hold the same weight in the US as they do where you are from...in fact I call my dogs queens. It's nothing against the real queen.

The day I registered was my grandfather's birthday and I had visited his and my grandmother's grave site and looked at old pictures, one of which was of me and Jesse. So, nothing as ostentatious as you imply.

Jesse was the sweetest dog ever. I remember going with my mom and grandma to the humane society to get a "watch dog" for my grandma for when grandpa was gone. She felt so sorry for Jesse sitting in the corner looking all sad. Jesse immediately bonded with my grandpa though and they were inseparable for 15 years. So much for the watch dog. He had a habit of always getting an ice cream when he went to town and always got her her own dish.
