Freakenstein !! Well ... not so much anymore. :(

But, to echo a post above me, Paul DOES look very healthy though. A VERY, VERY, VERY big man back is his day. Not complete, but BIG with damn near perfect symmetry !!

LOL...my favourite expression on the boards.  A retired pro can look near death and he always "looks healthy" which is a euphemism for having lost size.

In 2005 someone started a thread entitled "Nasser looking healthy" and the thread was filled with gay porn.  I laughed when I opened the thread.  ;D

You also expect some ex-sprinter nearing 50 to run 100m in times he did when he was at the peak of his career somewhere in his 20's ?

I do, otherwise they should just find the quickest way to busy traffic whilst blindfolded.  Afterall, they had their chance to write Beethoven`s Ninth Symphony and they didn`t.

Paul is what's being talked about in THIS thread. And Paul doesn't look anything remotely close to " near death ". I'm not a doctor, but from what I can tell he looks pretty good. That's all.

What a joke this cult has became! :-[
Paul Dillet is another exemple,like Tom Prince and Mike Francois, why modern bodybuilders are considered from the general population a bunch of drug addicted loser that could not acheive any execellence in any sport except in glute pinning!
Paul Dillet was all drugs since the beginning ,he problably never built any muscles without the use of drugs,he never trained without the use of drugs.
And now he look like sameone who never trained one day in his life and with the natural test production of female baby due the former
hormone usage!
Great genetic my ass,even his frame look like shit with his sloped shoulders!
The only great genetic he had was his genetic response to anabolic that made him huge even with his lazy ass workout!
This picture of Paul Dillet show why in order to be an elite bodybuilder nowdays the only thing you need is great genetic responce to drugs and a be crazy enough not to care for your health for amount of gear you take! >:(

If you care about natural bodybuilding then you should care about chemically enhanced bodybuilding, its everything you like...on steroids.  At the end of the day Paul achieved a physique more impressive in more ways than anyone else really in history.  Levrone, Dorian, Flex Wheeler, please...these people were not only much shorter but also smaller and less conditioned

You're dead on. You won't find any support on this board regarding how drug use is a negative.  On this board drugs isn't a risk to health.  Every athlete uses drugs according to popular opinion here.

Let's talk the truth.  Drugs gives you a temporary physique.  When you are truly off the drugs all the muscle you gained on it go away.  How many have you seen look like crap off the juice?

This is a sport based on drug use.  No drugs equals no sport. I love bodybuilding but it's a fact that 100% of the Olympia contestants are on numerous drugs.

As I've said a thousand times before, there is nothing wrong with HRT and as someone gets older and blood panels call for it, I'm all for it. Unless you're going to compete you don't need any more than the minimum recommendations for a LEGIT HRT program.

The sport existed before the drugs were invented.   So our reality of what physiques look like would be very different if synthetic test was never created.

From folks I know who knew Paul in his formative years in Toronto, he was a muscular but lanky guy who looked like a basketball player. Then he started using drugs in large amounts ... and blew up FAST. I heard from one guy that he LOVED the Anadrol and GH.

Bodybuilding isn't a sport. (not addicted to arguing just stating a fact)

bodybuilding= all drugs but now
,really, from the 50's-60's onwards, depending on which sport
sports= all drugs
the only thing that confuses this is that you still need an INCREDIBLE amount of skill
and expert coaching for years and years before you can benefit from all the drugs
but sadly, sport= all drugs too

Did you ask for some?

No, he gave  me his number and said he would work with me (train me) if I was interested, I considered it but he wanted a lot of money and i had no interest in competing, etc. so was kind of pointless, and I get my gear from the same guy as him so no point in adding a middle man..

Paul is all drugs. Seen his workouts and training like that he wouldn't even add 3 lbs of muscle as a natty. However, good to see he is reformed and off the drugs and addictions.

ID, it really was a sight to see. From 1989 - 1999 I saw everybody who was ever anybody in bodybuilding. . . and Dillet training in one of his sleeveless T's was just crazy. The top 5 bodybuilding sights during those years-

1-  Dorian training post Olympia and spilling over.
2-  Michael Francios training back.
3-  Dillet training arm or shoulders.
4-  Mike Christian going from a soft 190 to a vascular 240 in 90 days.
5-  Jean Pierre Fux training back.
