Dude competes about once every 3 years.

Good move.  He wouldn't be able to improve upon his Flex/Arnold look in time for the Olympia.

Didn't he take the WHOLE 2010 season off just to prepare for the 2011 Arnold ??    Why so much time off ? I'm surprised Universal Nutrition allows such a thing, to be honest. Then again, I'm not Evan nor do I represent Universal Nutrition.

Evan and Flex Lewis have been the most impressive, crisp and well conditioned competitors on the circuit this year.  They both took 2010 off.  Besides the burn out factor of competing too often, the judges begin to compare you against your last show rather than what you actually look like onstage.

Because he remains an enigma and as long as he doesnt compete in the MR. O, he remains mysterious. Once he competes in the Mr. O and gets a shitty placing, no one will give a shit about him anymore. By not competing, he remains in the lime light, i.e, that is, people still talk about him and his potential.
