I have an upcoming meet that allows for knee wraps in the "raw" division of DL's. Never thought to use them, I youtubed it and saw some strongmen using them for car DL.
Anyone ever use them for conventional DL's?

Never done it myself. Seen a very small number of people doing it on sumo pulls. Very rare. Imo the bar should always be against your leg, therefore knee wraps are likely to hinder your lift

I've gotten so used to right under left over, switching that will be hard to get used to.

The "over" side almost always drags the leg. I try to switch every set until the final heavy sets then I stick with right over/left under.

Top of my right knee always gets cut up and my left shin always gets banged up. Price I guess we have to pay.

At least they heal up most of the time before the next DL session. ;D
