Spandau Ballet was pretty big in the early 80's. I remember when they were known as the cut, later to change their name like 2-3 times.
They had a few awesome songs and riffs which were sampled by many clowns. Remember PM dawn and his song Set Adrift On Memory Bliss, well that overgrown behemoth sampled Spandau's song true.
Take a listen some time, you might find some real genius in their work.

Oh I have man, I've been on a big New Wave kick lately. I saw Spandau Ballet on TV a couple weeks ago, they reunited for some 80's fest in England. The lead singer has a monster voice.

They don't make music like they used to man. It's sad, but my MP3 player is filled with music from the mid 80's to early 90's. I probably stopped listening to new music since 95 or so.
