not people . the antarians .. dunno if they did.. I do know that they were obsessed with body building and on their home world the density was higher thus allowing for a more "muscular" body as far as natural plateau is concerned

the clue is right in front of you: can you have a natural body like this? no .. too much muscle at too low a bodyfat ... well then .. who was depicted in the sculptures then? ;)

they were also extremely versed in torturing ... and programming the human mind through sexual means

one of the offshoots of that is what we call today deviant fetishes as in combining sex with torture

Greek "gods" were based on Egyptian "gods",
But, if you are looking to a far out theory, those gods were based upon the creations of the Atlanteans, these creations were called "The Things"

Anyways, the Greeks  believed in physique perfection, and that a large cock was laughable and unsymmetrical---hence their statures and depictions of men wuth a more potatoes less meat look...

The Greeks were perhaps the first people to create their gods in their own image.  By that I mean the gods of Greece were human in their looks and even their desires. Witness the plethora of progeny Zeus pumped out via affairs with mortal women.

In contrast the Egyptians simply put an animal's head on top of a human body, e.g. "Horus".    It is also notable that one early Egyptian Pharaoh was monotheistic. Akhenaten worshiped Aten and Aten alone, or so we are led to believe.  Doubtless this did not sit well with the priests of other deities.   This form of monotheism seems to predate that of Israel.

Here to help.  ;D

The Greek elite (and Romans after them, cause they really only duplicated the Greek) was the first in history to actually question the existence of gods. Humanity was growing up for a few centuries back then..

As is quite often the case, society's elite question in private that which may remove them from  public envy, i.e., power.  Having said that, I do agree with you sir.

ahhh, you disagree?

I have to find the stories, but there is the story of one of the Egyptian goddess, which is virtually identical to a story about Hera...pretty much each of the main societies built upon the other. Greek built upon the Egyptian, Roman upon the Greek...
And it is from the Egyptian that we get out modern day "fencing"

in terms of physique, it was the Egyptians that represented man in a broadshouldered, small waisted athletic build. Akhenaten, who ironically was monotheistic, was depicted as having a feminine phyisque, with wide hips and a slight belly---the first recorded "tranny"? He was related to King Tut...as most of the royal family  bred with one another---a way of keeping it in the family...

Both the Egyptians the Greeks knew about "progressively loading" the muscles---ie, progressively lifting a heavier object to gain stregth...this was employed in the training regiments of ancient Olympic athletes.
