... or anyone else...

Do you purchase gold or other precious metals as investments. What is the concensus on doing this with the upcoming hyperinflation?

Been buying everything.   Ammo, guns, rare stuff, razors, stuff on sale that will last forever, water, dry food.

Downsizing expenses greatly.   Etc etc.

I have a small library myself at this point.

I like Cody Lundin's books.   Very common sense.

If its really a pandemic on a global scale, the roads won't be usable.  I am hiking north towards Shasta through the mountains.

They have a lot of lists in the book of things you should have on hand.     There is some good stuff in there about having a plan with family memebers, etc.

Best book i have read and is the most readable was probably Cody Lundin's "When all hell breaks loose"

From "Dual Survival"?

Dam!  That's my favorite new show!  Didn't know he had books out.  I got Tom Brown and Les Stroud and a US army one.

What got me watching it was flash burning with gun powder!

Yes.  Same guy.   I love his books.   Extremely readable.   His two best books are   "98.6"  and "When all Hell Breaks Loose"

I have read dozens of books and always refer back to those two.

Oh so that's where you are?  lol

Don't want to go to Tahoe, too many people from the valley will be heading there.  and screw Mexico.

What most people don't realize is that once you get off the coast, that area between the Valley and Oregon is all high-desert. It isn't going to support a bunch of refugees. Plus the winters are going to be too harsh as well for you city-folk.

They should have them.    Of all the books I have read, he seems the most realistic.   I have read books where they want you putting barbed wire around yourhouse and have gun turrets in the corners of the property.

He writes in a way to where you get all the nonsense out of the way and helps you understand what is real and what is nonsense.
