The networks suck so bad that in order to get people to talk about their shows, they have scripted the use of "Fvck" and other curse words in their shows...but of course they bleep it out...
makes no sense, just have better written shows...

It's amazing how the writers can't be witty enough to replace Fuck with something else.
That show William Shatner was starring in...Shit my Dad says.....they couldn't come up with a better fucking title? What the fuck?
Swearing has its place in certain TV shows at certain moments....Breaking Bad for instance.....but you would think these writers that get paid a shitload could come up with an entertaining enough dialog to not stoop to the use of curse words.

network tv is dying a fast death
oh wait, the 89 year old tv exec has an idea, lets get katie curic on the network, shes super hot, how can people not watch, fucking stupid idiots

Hire some British writers...I mean damn, I think National Geographic Channel and PBS have better shows than the networks..and just saying "fuck" means nothing, it loses it's panache..it's weight
I mean, if they want to show breasts, be my guest...i guess that is the next stop...but, i sincerely doubt it...the Christians will get uptight...yet you can show a man being "shot" or "killed" on a drama, and now you can bleep the word "fuck", it's that assbackwards?

British writers? Have you seen the complete and UTTER shit on our TV's? I don't even have one any more. Gave it to my ex girlfriend 6 months ago and never bought another. Apart from sports and documentaries I watch fuck all else since there's fuck all else to watch. Total brain-dead shit.

What truly makes no sense is that expletives such as f*ck are bleeped out. Television supposedly reflects our culture. Unfortunately, people today pepper their speech with expletives. This goes to what I said in another tread about the celebration, indeed glorification of classless folks in the U.S. Nothing identifies being low class more than the way one talks, in my opinion.

Malcom X was told once, "A man curses because he doesn't have the words to express himself", and that is what has happened, people no longer are creative enough to express what's on their minds, and this shows in the music....
And the words are bleeped out, so it has no real effect...just the shock value, which is very little
Sadly, our society is so engrained in Entertainment (like Rome), that we have failed to recognize that we are falling beind...
Exactly, classless folks are celebrated..it's okay to be a douche, it's okay to be a slacker...why? Well, because the Baby Boomer Generation's kids are that...TV refelcts our society sadly, and our society is nothing to be proud of, as of late

Network TV today is just plain old piss poor.
