I USUALLY DO PUSH UPS....BUT I SUPERSET THEM WITH INCLINE FLYES. I HAVE MY FEET ELEVATED ON A FLAT BENCH AND DO THEM NICE AND SLOW.....THEN BACK OVER TO INCLINE FLYES.

Dips and push-ups are great training for the chest. I love parallel bar Dips !

The common pushup never gets much respect, but it can add to a chest workout very well. All depending how and where they are placed in a workout. Many versions of the pushup to be explored.

Personal view (no big deal): I prefer dips (weighted) over regular benches any time. The BP is over used in most workouts. And  over rated for some people, who never seem to gain in strength or size with it alone. Good Luck.
