Lol, yes, and the new Impala...same platform
-
i like how BMW always seems to have their photos 'leaked'.
::)
-
Fkin' ugly piece of "car" right there.
Yes, yes, I couldn't afford one (well, maybe in America I could..) but hell not even if I had the money in pocket would I buy this.
Doesn't stand out!! You can for sure get much prettier cars for that prize :-\

the e39 was dorian
the e60 was ronny
the new one is like phil heath blown up peace of genaration nothingness, will sell well in china...

you are so right, from the side you can't tell the two apart. The latest Bimmers are bland as fuck apart from the M6.

It might not, they like to be "driven", when it comes to sedans...which is the reason why Audi and BMW has long wheelbase versions of the A4 ,A5, and the 3, 5, respectively...because even the ones who get those cars want to feel like they are as important as the LWD 7 series and Mercedes and Audi A8...

Yes, those "special edition" M3s...nothing but paint, and interior trim and diff color rims...they tried to squeeze as much money out of them (the M3) as they could, they are beginning to be like Ford with the Mustang and Porsche with 911 with so many "special editions".
There is a M facility in Taiwan that pretty an "exclusive" shop, with BMW Individual cars (special paint, rims). Only one in the world

what a heap of shit!
x2, i never understand what's about BMWs.
-
i will miss the v10 =/
-
lol
Looks like BMW have stopped trying to do anything innovative in regards to their design ::)

The M5 from it's inception (the 80s) was meant not to standout...the wolf in a business suit...the only iteration that did, was the E60 (last gen) M5, and that was due to the extroverted style of the base 5 series upon which it was based on.
I think the term is "restrained elegance" is what they shoot for...or is that Lexus...hmm

hmm..not sure about that! apart from the M badge this baby always look beefed up. Mufflers, side vents, body kits, rims.
I have the 530I with the sport package and every time I see the M5 it puts me to shame.

They do subtle addenda, one who knows can tell. For instance the only thing that seperates a E39 M Sport and the M5 are wheels, mirrors and quad tailpipes...the M Sport and M5 have the same front end...
The E34 M5 and reg M Sport, the diff was the badge and wheels, same for the E28...
The E60 550i with M Sport and the E60 line in general was more aggresive due to the styling, so therefore the E60 M5 would have been more aggressive, if you put both the new F10 M5 and the E60 together, you'll see that neither is more aggressive than the other---but, the newer one is more cohesive...

x3 Everyone I know has one these days and i see them everywhere. Such boring cars to look at. MAybe fun to drive but design is pure garbage compared to others out there.
-
fuck you penises. i would eat my own ass to get one of those m5's. gets me very horny to look at those.
better than the grand cherokee i just got. when i got it my dad said "that's a nice girly car you got" (traded in a charger for it).

I still say it's a fucking sonata with a BMW badge. Look at the body lines!
With that being said, I wouldn't mind having one.
Buddy of mine is a car dealer. He took out the previous generation M5 one time.
I was sitting in the backseat ...I still remember my head snapping back when he punched it.
The 500HP was unreal.
Does anyone watch Top Gear? Jeremy Clarkson makes fun of BMW drivers as being the douchy types who dress a certain way.
I tend to agree. Most BMW drivers that I know are the "rico suave-ish" type ... trying to be slick.

Ive seen many BMW and M3 owners that are douchebags...and I've seen many Corvette owners that are the older gold chain wearing types---but then, I've seen many M3 and BMW owners that blow away that stereotype. For instance, KevinP85, he is a M3 owner
As for the 5 looking like a Sonata, I think the 5 looks more like the 7, it's hard to seperate the two on the road...Hyundai took a early 2000s Lexus ES300/Camry and came up with this:

hard to seperate all those cars... all have 4 rims ::)

It's no E39 but in it's class it's probably the one to have. There is no hope in wishing things would go back to the way they were.
