I'm a believer in Christ and I have no doubts concerning the power and love of God, but there are things such as horrific natural disasters that make me question the reasoning behind God's perfect plan. I've read different perspectives concerning the timelessness of God in the sense that past, present and future states are conceived by God all at once; whereas in our imperfection we can only grasp aspects of the past and present and simply speculate on tomorrow. The full scope of God's plan is simply beyond our comprehension given the information available to us. I've also read about the biblical fall of man and slow decay of the environment in which he lives and that the increased frequency of natural disasters simply indicates the increasing decay of Earth leading to Christ's return and the eventual renewal of Earth. I witness the compassion of others brought about by such disasters....millions come together while thousands perish. Do these concepts of God's timelessness, our limited comprehension of his power and plan, the fall of man and the compassion of the surviving masses bring comfort to the victims of these disasters? I certainly don't have all the answers, but moments like these make me take stock of the blessings in my life.

Why would God punish the country of Japan? Tornados leveled some Christian churches in the states. Does God hate those that belief also?

Yes, compared with self-proclaimed "Christians" God has values, so he doesn't like old men raping 6 year old boys

Morality comes from humans, not religions.

I trust God just like you, but there are things we will never understand until we die, like a verse in the Bible,...."the Lord is a man of war"

I wonder if MuscleCenter is also a bit daft when speaking his native language. He comes off like a slow adult.
-
animals, insects, follow rules, principles that suit the group/specie, humans follow values, principles , morals etc that enhance the survival of all individuals in the group. But our morals and values are just an extension of what our ancestors, chimps, developed, and that can be found in any kind of animal group.

Rather than ask myself why god would allow a disaster such as this if he could stop it with the same effort I can open a can of diet cherry pepsi, I am comforted by the knowledge that sometimes weather and earthquakes suck and this is the result..nothing personal, mother nature is an equal opportunity employer

This is a bit of a shocking video as well.

What makes you think you, or any other human have any knowledge re: the perspective of "God"? Why are you trying to reason things on those terms at all?

My guess would be he and or they believe they have the written word of God which gives some perspective of God..

Wise words

This is correct. We can glean a many, many things about God from scripture; although, this is one area in which I don't have personal clarity. In the book of Jeremiah is states that God will bring calamity on his enemies and consume them with the sword. There is another verse in Amos which indicates "Does disaster come to a city unless the LORD has planned it?" Now, I don't believe the country of Japan is an enemy of God LOL!!! It's the occurrance of these natural disasters and their divine purpose which eludes me and always will. I am a believer, but I don't have all the answers. Does this shake my faith to the core? No, because I know the love of God. This is the point in which (everyone warm up your eyes for rolling) we must have faith. This is point in which I must defer to true biblical scholars who have far greater scriptural insights than I do.

No, God goes not like old men raping 6 year old boys. That is correct.

MC, what's your point of posting all those crap on this board? This is a board about bodybuilding gossips. As a veteran getbigger, I don't think you have any problem to understand the policy of how to post bodybuilding related threads on this board. And why do you always post craps about japanese?
>:( :-X

Everyone in Japan seems to have a camera on him, just in case. odd people.
-

Based on my observations the Japanese people are very disciplined and organised, so yes, and there is an audience for these productions.
