Was readin' ( NEVER buy, for obvious reasons ) the new MD today at the bookstore when I happened to come across an article feat. Kucleo The Kid. And, in one particular photo, he looked pretty fuckin' swole. To say the very least ! Now ... if my memory serves me correct ( and it usually does ), Steve was also featured in last month's MD as well ... which leaves me to believe one of two things :
1 ) Blechman's runnin' out of bb'ers to feature in his magazine every month
Oooorrrrrrrr .....
2 ) There's a STRONG PUSH by MD ensurin' that Steve goes Pro this year ( or whenever his next contest is )
Here's my question, my fellow brotha's in iron ... what happened to lettin' your physique do the talkin' ?? Sure, it's good publicity ! No doubt about it ! But, did Steve really even need it ? I mean, he's been touted to go Pro for quite a while now. And, quite honestly, when he turns Pro ( because with these last two MD issues I GUARAN-FUCKIN'-TEE he will ) do you guys really think he's goin' to make any huge changes to his physique and fulfill some sort of pre-determined " destiny " that people ( includin' some of you ) have been rantin' and ravin' on about for years ???
Personally ... I don't think so. I really, really don't. But, like Gh15 says, with the current state of bb'ing WHO THE FUCK KNOWS ! It's all a goddamn mess ! LOL ! ABUSE of insulin. And I don't say it because some other guy here at GetBig says it ! I say it because I see the abuse with my own two eyes.
P.S - Though I sound like I'm losin' sleep over this, rest assured, I'm not. And, yes, I understand it's JUST a magazine. I also understand the marketing half as well, blah, blah, blah. I have LOVED bb'ing since I was a kid. They state that it's been in the last several years just makes me sick. Oh, well ....................

It's time to move on chief. The Capital City was fucking eight years ago. We're all very sorry for your loss, but you're way too close to middle age to justify any remaining teenage angst.

Brothers in Iron, I tell you all now, and remember my words- bodybuilding is making a comeback. Give it 4-5 years, by 2015 bodybuilding will be as good if not better than the 90's. Mark my words, for I speak the truth. I see hear and feel things turning around, and have been training my ass off which hasn't happened in years. It's almost like an energy I used to feel for the sport is coming back, and damn it feels amazing.

Kuclo is good, but he can't get in conditioning, so ultimately, it really shows his lack of heart...he has been touted for a while now and can't take it to the next level, which is odd how the 90s bbers could do it as if on command...
Chances are Kuclo will be GIVEN a card just like Huh, just like Putnam, just like Kamali, and when he becomes a Pro, he'll be shit...

And thank you, Dr. Freud. Seriously though ... what a shitty thing to say to a person. Even by GetBig standards. Rather than reply to the thread in question, you choose to bring up my personal life. This isn't about my past " issues " with Steve. Nor is this about any " teenage angst " that I still carry. Nothin' could be further from the truth.
Anyways, I'm here to discuss the CURRENT state of bb'ing. If your not here to discuss that, then don't waste my time. See ya next week, Dr. ;)
