Oh fuck that Johnny Winter pic. He never really looked like Cutler, but this is terrible. I saw him in Amsterdam in 86 I think, all tats and stuff but vibrant. Then again late 90's, we left the show earlier because it sucked. I saw some recent performances on Youtube, you don't wanna know..

lol yeah same for me - being called Sir is a defiant clue that you have moved on from teenager to young man.
But I kinda like were i am right now 36 still looking much younger than I am - and I still have a lot of dreams and ambitions in life.
I don't think I be ever the type of - docker jeans / jeanos wearing guy, there will always be a side of rebellion inside of me and a huge child that is a constant annoyance to my poor wife :D

whenever this subject comes up..... i always say look at SEAN CONNERY!!!!!!!!!
growing older is no big deal, if you have it, you will still have it... lol!

just don't overdo things! like plastic surgery.. etc etc..
grow old with style....
accept your age, noting more sad then a 50 year old trying to look like a 20 year old...

I saw Johnny Winter about 10 years ago,I used to love the guy but he was a shadow of his former self as fas as physically and could no longer play guitar anywhere near the way he used to.

He was still talented, but he wasn`t the Johnny Winter I grew up on.

A buddy of his told me that all he does all day is drink Jack Daniels in his trailer and listen to Muddy Waters records!  :(

Nope. Happens all the time.

Don't do gear btw, it ages you quickly.  ;D

The people that gave me life also appear decades younger than they actually are, so obviously it's a genetic thing as well in my case.

No one who is 44 will ever pass for 25. Even the best plastic surgeons can only make you look good for your age. There is a natural aging process and healthy living will not keep you looking 25 when you are 44.. Also, how good someone looks on the outside as far as their face goes has little to do with the inside.

x2. Of course there are countless people who look a lot younger than their age. And they get complemented routinely. And because for many age is a touchy subject so the person doing the complementing will exaggerate a bit. After all if you are in your 50s and someone says you can past for a person in their 40s or if you are in your 40s and someone says that they thought you were in your 30s it doesn't really sound all that great. So you fudge the numbers a bit. I guess for some they really believe the hyperbole.

Of course those claiming to look 20 years younger can dispel all doubt and simply post a pic. But I doubt they will back up their claim as this is GetBig and we tell it like it is here.

Real example that we can verify. Groink looks much younger than 46. He is obvious genetically gifted and few here can match him in that respect. But does he look 26 yrs. old. LOL! Not even close.

Same here.....People regularly make me take my ID out and show them how old  i am,, they aren't just being nice.

I get 30-35 which I'll take all day long.

Nope. I claim 28 often and never even get so much as a strange look. People are usually in disbelief when I inform them I'm past 40. I got carded for liquor till I was in my mid 30's, the fiancé still does and we're the same age. Drinking age is 18 here so you do the math.

No wrinkles, no grey, sub 10% bf year round, no loose skin and hair almost to my waist. Eat like a vegetarian monk most of the year and never miss a workout. Almost no alcohol and zero drugs for the last 20 years save for caffeine. I've said here previously I believe declining test levels at my age are a fallacy as well as I still have the strength and energy I did 20 years prior. More energy that the 20 something's I play music with to be sure.

I have some old and new pics and vids around here including my avatar but it's a bit small. The globe to the left is a link to my pics here.

Typing on an iPhone is a pain and I'm too busy to bother responding for a while but I have no reason to bs anyone. I do what I do and it serves me well.

Hard to tell because your face is mostly blocked. Physique wise you are definitely well ahead of the game and claiming 28 would not be a stretch in that respect. But that Texas Shredder guy has the physique that could pass for an incredibly in shape man in his late 20s early 30s but the head sitting on top of it looks like 50. But from what I can see you definitely don't look a man anywhere near his 40s. Props.

Sure he dyes his hair and has had "work" done but damn! Getting old ain't what it use to be. And it seems some keep pushing the envelop or rather don't succumb to self-imposed limitations.

Ringo's a nice guy. But if he hadn't had the luck to be in The Beatles he'd been working McDonalds at best..

Props.

Thanks man. The clear face pic is me at 35-36 I think. The newest one is last summer.
