Anyone willing to take a swing? I'm talking with legitimate examples of his accomplishments, statistics and facts. You copy/pasting scumbags can fuck off out of this thread.
-
Beach - can you sticky this since I have a strong hunch that it will get pushed down very quickly.
-
frankly, I haven't found a republican worth voting for

I was thinking that as I wrote it. kcballer is the only one I can see taking a swing at it.

Ok. Will do for a day or two.

I'm thinking Andre might take a shot at it. He's already made one sad attempt, haha.

Andre seems to have vanished.

frankly, I haven't found a republican worth voting for
so you will double down on stupid then???
I dont really like any of the rep candidates either but just about all of them would put the economy first unlike obama...
that should be your number one concern right now magoo

the economy should not always be put first. It should be addressed and Obama's administration has not done a good job there but the economy should not be above all else.
I wish there was a better democratic candidate. But don't get me wrong, I've been trying to learn more about all the candidates.
-
Cause we axed for change and I think he's going give it to us this time?
???

BF, you voted for Obama. What are the main points you have against him in relation to the points of why you voted for him?
I would attempt to make a case for why he deserves to be reelected, but I can't lol...

didnt say always, but RIGHT NOW!!!! it should be the first and formost issue...

That was not the question.
-
He can name all 57 states.
-
Ouch
-
Ok, i'll try it........
The majority of the country, at least 51%, are lazy fat fcks who don't like to work. Probably more.
So, Obama is successfully representing the needs (handout) and desires (not to work, more govt programs) of the MAJORITY of the people who live in America.
All a republican can do is promise to serve the desires of LESS THAN HALF of the nation.
Obama is best representing the NEEDS and DESIRES of the MAJORITY OF AMERICANS. :D
(This, of course, throws out things like long term viability and sustainability, but since everyone knows they're gonna keel over on the crapper at age 47 or 48 from blocked arteries from fast food eating and hot dogs in their kitchen, they aren't too worried about the state of the US economy in 75 years.)

no argument on this from 33?

At this point, I think anyone currently running would be an improvement. The man is a train wreck.
As of today, I like Bachmann the most out of those who are running.

Ask any young person why they voted for him and they do not know why. I get so irritated when i here this: "My Lambo is Blue and my president is Black."
I wonder if most young black kids see it as a racial thing. :-\
They are driving old Honda Civics. ::) ::)

So the only one to take a swing so far is a squirrel-eating, faux-conservative. Really says a lot about the Obama drones on here. They've got nothing. :)
BF, you voted for Obama. What are the main points you have against him in relation to the points of why you voted for him?
I would attempt to make a case for why he deserves to be reelected, but I can't lol...
The economy, the economy, the economy.
This country is on the verge of falling right off the economic cliff and the best thing this douche can do is show up every four or five months and chastise everyone else for apparently not doing their part....only for him to take off somewhere (usually a fundraiser as all he does is campaign) and get himself involved in something irrelevant.
The guy actually had the gall to jet off for two fundraisers today after scolding congress for not working hard enough. This guy has spent over a year now avoiding even discussing the economy, let alone actually trying to fix it. And when he finally does open his mouth, the best he can muster is to blame everyone else (again) and then call for more spending.
He's no leader and has no clue how to fix the economy. When that happens it's time to go.
The only question that needs to be asked is, "Is this country better off now than it was before he was President?" Nothing indicates that it is.
-
Most supporting obama don't give a damn about the country if they still support him.
-

I wouldn't say that. Some people are party loyalists (at least some of the supporters I know).

I can totally understand this. It's a lot of why I don't like him either. It seems like he just got in office and did what the bankers wanted him to do rather than what was right. I'm not sure the next guy will do any different but well, I guess only time will tell.
-
Ask any young person why they voted for him and they do not know why.
In other forums i post on, younger people 18-24, tell me they voted for him because he was "the lesser of two evils" compared to palin/mccain.
younger people always sway liberal, and most if not all believe republicans are "Evil", "racist", "greedy" etc.
sad but true.

According to the far leftists redistribution of wealth, pushing bizarro world social policies, always takes precedence over people finding work and feeding themselves.

I disagree. He won by less than 6 points in 2008 when literally everything was working for him that he no longer has the benefit of. almost every single benefit he had in 2008 is gone and I think it accounts formore than a 6 point swing overall.

he's currently running FOR president and is getting a 44% approval rating.
In a year, he'll be running AGAINST a republican. With his/her own set of issues. Suddenly, anyone polarized, disenfranchised, unhappy with this candidate may vote for obama JUST TO DEFEAT this republican.
You run a moderate republican, and the repub base stays home (18% less stayed home in 2008 that showed up in 2004). You run a far-right republican, and the moderates stick with obama to keep a nutjob bible literalist out of office.
So yes, Obama has all his negatives right now, and the repubs has all the positives of being all things to all voters who don't like Obama. Wait til you put a face to the GOP nominee.

classic 33 dodge. You do this and everyone here knows my point just owned you and so you resort to insulting me.
Watch and see. The GOP nominee won't make both the moderate and far-right repubs happy.

Unlike 2008 - obama has a record. He can't run on hope and change as that turned out to be a collosal lie and joke. Just like there was Bush fatigue in 2008, there i already overwhelming obama fatigue in the nation and people are chomping at the bit to oust this communist traitor you are so smitten with.
Its not about the GOP, its about obama's record of failure and destruction that will carry the day, as sad for you as we all know that is.
Romney, bachmann, paul, perry, t paw, a can of soup, a dog bone, a cat litter box, will all be able to landslide barry in 2012. Just like on november 5, 2010, you, straw, blacken, benny, mal, andre, and the rest of the liberal freak show we in shell shock over what occurred, so will be the same in 2012 when this piece of trash is sent packing.

Even more so. Asie from the gays, blacks, racist hispanic groups, govt union thugs, enviro nazis, he has lost almost everyone else. and those goups dont matter one bit in elections other than for numbers. Most are grouped together in certain population centers where it doesnt matter as it is.
His polls right now are a mile wide and an inch thick.
-
The sad reality is, he's got a good chance of getting reelected aside from the world of this board.
He has the power of the incumbency, and will have the cash, but he is in serious trouble. He has lost the independents and Republicans who put him in office. His base will not be enough to get him reelected.
-
He has the power of the incumbency,
I agree with you - the incumbency is a huge power. He can dictate events to help him politically. Many getbiggers seem to disagree with this power.

Not enough - he abuses his power and it turns people off.

It will not be enough to save his lousy presidency. He can't run on his record, he can't run against Bush, and he can't be an anti-war candidate. He's toast.
-
i agree it won't be enough alone.
Still, many getbiggers have argued for years that there isn't certain powers that come with running the country which benefit people trying to keep office.

But as Karl Rove points out, he threw away the power of incumbency when he started going on the campaign trail so early and so intense.

He can time events so they benefit him.

dis is tha that thur stimulus in acktion.
Black children have never been more obese than under Prez Obama. This is what I call stimulus. Just pretend that the little fat kid is debt and bankruptcy a heart attack away.

Funny, not one member of team kneepad has even made a half assed attempt in this thread.
-
Obama will likely get re-elected because his opposition is inferior at this point. There is really no viable contender other than Ron Paul but he's been largely ignored.
Romney and Huntsman are Mormons, Bachman has no clue what she's talking about, Herman Cain is largely ignored, Pawlenty is ignored and has no clue as to what he's talking about and Newt is just not going to get anywhere.
I've heard that the ads that are going to be released against Romney are going to state that he's trying to pass laws allowing polygamy and every other thing that has to deal with Mormons. Romney won't win any of the Bible Belt which will basically kill any change of him winning.
Ron Paul can win but its a shame that he won't get to the podium

And please tell me , what does this jerkoff plan to do for four more years?
Amnesty for illegals, gay marriage, carbon taxes, etc.

Bill Clinton: Obama Will Win in 2012
Sunday, 03 Jul 2011
Mitt Romney is better than he was in 2008, Jon Huntsman is likable and Michele Bachman is a serious contender. But President Barack Obama will still get re-elected next year, says former President Bill Clinton.
According to Politico, Clinton spoke about some of the Republican Bill Clinton, 2012 Presidential Electionpresidential contenders and the 2012 election at the Aspen Ideas Festival in Colorado.
“I like the governors: I like Huntsman and Romney. Romney’s a much better candidate than he was last time, because he’s not apologizing for signing the healthcare bill. ... Huntsman hasn’t said what he’s for yet, but I just kinda like him. He looks authentic – he looks like a real guy. I mean, a real human being. I like his family, I like his kind of iconoclastic way. And he was a pretty good governor. And he wasn’t a right-wing ideologue."
As for Bachmann, Clinton admitted that she's "been a better candidate than I thought she’d be, and I don’t agree with her on nearly anything. But she’s got a very compelling personal story, and she gotta lot of juice, and she turns [on] a lot of those anti-government crowd.”
But, Clinton believes, none of that will matter on Election Day 2012, because he's sure Obama will be victorious.

What else is that idiot going to say.
-
Vince - ron paul is against 95 percent of what you claim to stand for. Why would you vote for him?
You don't even know my political stances. But to answer your question, Ron Paul is the only person in the running that's giving his own solutions to problems, not just rattling off answers and statement to please or pander the GOP base. I don't agree with a lot of things he says but at least he's being himself
BTW, I would not vote for Ron Paul. Try remembering what I said about politics

Yet you will vote for bama. Makes a ton of sense.

I dont really like any of the rep candidates either but just about all of them would put the economy first unlike obama...

The sad fact is Americans WANT rhetoric. You cannot get elected to President in America unless you can figure out what the majority of people want to hear. If you say what you really think, you're toast.

Sad, but true. A lot of superficial qualities are required to be elected POTUS. They have to look and sound the part.
-
I'm still trying to figure how vince squares his statements about ron paul, his saying he won't vote for him, and his intent to vote for obama again.
Truly bizarre, but perfectly explains the 95 percent stupidity and ignorance I talk about.
If obama were a white politician w the same record he would have never been elected, probably have been impeached, and not even in discussion for a second term.

You give us citizens too much credit. We have considered Palin for vice president, re-elected George W for a second term and think medicinal marijuana is evil. We also are just fine with our current tax system if you believe the polls.

They want some rhetoric but not all the fucking time and over time people will think that they are a dickhead.

So we are still left only w 240 answer that obama appeals to the parasites of society and since we are almost a majority parasite, on that basis he should be relected. Correct?
-
So we are still left only w 240 answer that obama appeals to the parasites of society and since we are almost a majority parasite, on that basis he should be relected. Correct?
Yes. I think that's the consensus, if you want total honesty.
When the parasites outnumber the workers - and i think we can all agree they do - you've got the inmates running the asylum.
They'll run it into the ground, mind you... but ppl aren't concerned with that.
-
As much as I detest that answer, as much as it makes me sad knowing the damage the parasites are causing, I understand it.
If you look at the coalitions who plan to vote for this marxist monster again, each of them have one common theme - higher taxes to pay for more unsustainable shit fewer and fewer people can pay for.
Bottom line - obama voters in 2012 are trying to collapse america from within.

No wonder 99% of their posts on here involve personal attacks that ignore the thread topic.

At least 240 gave what is probably a pathetic but true reason. I think it's revolting and abhorrent, but he might have a point for the parasites' reason for voting for Obama in 2012.

Can you address my opinion on this subject?
he delivers what the MAJORITY of AMERICANS want.
Repubs may do what is BEST FOR AMERICANS, but it's not WHAT THEY WANT.
So it's really like the repubs will give the kids broccoli, and the dems will give them all the candy they want.
The constitution says it's up to the kids what's on the menu... ;)

They probably just didn't see it - what with having to spend all day scanning Palin's tweets for misspellings, or hoping Bachman's husband acts gay (which supposedly we're not to stereotype or make fun of that sorta thing), and desperately watching for anything religious to do with Perry, well it's easy to miss a hard question that requires thought like the one BF has put forth.

simple
wait to see who the Repub nominee will be and then decide based on the available choices
so far I haven't seen one Repub who I would choose over Obama
It will be (as it often is) more for voting against the one you don't want then being thrilled about the person you're voting for
