Ok how many times do steroid users who are lifetime users have to die of heart related deaths for you people to accept steroids are bad and will kill you eventually?

Too many Slim Jims.
-
Pain killers and alcohol had nothing to do with it.
-
Hmm. TMZ(!?) article notes "According to the medical examiner, Savage suffered from cardiovascular disease -- and the deadly "cardiac event" resulted from the condition."
Doesn't say anything about steroids.
-

Of course they had something to do with it. But do you have the credentials to say steroids didn't have anything to do with it?

If you are so worried about credentials then find a guy with credentials that said steroids were the cause of death.

You hinted that there is no way that steroids had an effect.
-
During the commercial break they are probably running HRT commercials.
-
Daily does of 40,000 to 90,000 HU's of Cayenne pepper may have really helped him.

No I didn't. I hinted that pain killers and alcohol DID. Steroids had ZERO to do with it.

how do you know this?
Been around many guys the last 30 years who have used steroids. Some are drugs users as in rec drugs and alcohol. These guys always have probs. Other guys for example I'll give you two who I know personally and have talked into having an EBT scan within the last year.
First guy 42 done steroids for 15 years straight 800 mgs daily. Almost never off. Never done rec drugs rarley drank. EBT scan showed 10% block in one artery rest were clear.
Second guy 49 been using for almost 30 years. On average uses 1500 mgs test weekly almost never takes breaks. NEVER DRINKS and NEVER uses rec drugs. EBT scan shows zero blockage in all arteries. This is real life no BS medical tests on real life steroid "abusers". All other tests show healthy individuals. Both had high cholesterol, but no blocks. That kinda makes one woner doesn't it?

You need to reword your original statement. You do not KNOW that steroids had ZERO impact on macho man. Maybe the two you know personally are the abnormal. Maybe Macho Man was the first human ever to be affected by steroids. That is the problem with induction, it doesn't deliver necessary conclusions, only probable ones. You cannot claim a certain conclusion, only a probable conclusion. You do not know that steroids had zero impact, you can only say "it is probable steroids did not have a large impact."
-
Who the fuck takes 800 mg of steroids daily?

A lot of guys do. This guy would use 500 test daily with roughly 300 mgs of an anabolic. I'm not condoning it, but they are out there.

maybe you don't know the difference between induction and deduction

This is a quote from that same report that was posted:
According to the toxicology report, Savage tested positive for alcohol and hydrocodone (an opiate) during the time of his death ... but neither played a role in his death.
In other words, the specialists involved in the production of the toxicology report concluded that neither the alcohol or pain killers used actually played a role in his death.
By deductive reasoning, one can only assume that if the alcohol or drug use didn't lead to his death, that maybe the next probable player in his death might have been that of steroid use.
Of course there are other players that can also have had a hand in his death..

Does anyone here have the "credentials" to say fate and pre-destiny had something to do with it? Everything in the man's life had "something" to do with his 'premature(? how would we know?) death...
Right?

Yes neither played a role at the time of his death meaning the levels in his blood did not impair his judgement - he was driving at the time remember - but years upon years of pain killer abuse does cause problems - no one knows for sure what lead to his heart attack it will all be assumption - lifestyle in my eyes is the main culprit here eg: Wrestling at that level and all that comes with it so all forms of abuse and stress placed on the body - steroid abuse can not be pointed at as the only cause here.

Well, since you mentioned it, I know of a certain Jew that actively participates in this forum that might know a jeweler in Israel, who just so happens to have known a very distant cousin of Jesus, who might have some answers as to what fate had in line for the Macho Man.
Again, it's a stretch, but I will see if I can get in contact with that certain Jew.

We all have heard the stories of people that started smoking when they were 12 and lived to their late 80's. Is smoking a risk to good health? Hell, yes. Are all heroin users going to die? Yes, but some will be because of old age. The same with steroids. Steroids increase blood pressure and low density lipids. Both contribute to heart disease. Also rapid increases in bodyweight is a strain to the heart whether it's muscle or fat. The heart isn't going to become efficient regarding a 30lb weight drug induced increase in 6 weeks. Since using steroids is such a small subculture there will never be any real studies.
Users are in denial to justify their use of bodybuilding drugs. Pro bodybuilding is such a small sub culture of a sport and how many pros have had heart problems? Where there is smoke there is fire.

x2 but the ppl here are so fucking ignorant and don't want to accept that something they do could harm then in the long run, big deal.

BINGO good post

i dont think anyone is in denial.. but savage had a partying lifestyle.. he indulged and did so for a long period of time.. could adding gear into the mix contribute.. sure.. butr lets not lose sight of the fact that he and many other wrestlers led a very hard life.. drinking, coke, painkillers, gear ect ect will catch up to ya eventually.. but to say it was gears fault is extremely gullible... many factors here..

Post up some cases that steroids were a DIRECT cause of death. Post up cases where HRT was a DIRECT cause of death. I'll be waiting. BTW, 30years on and off gear....no problems. Thanks.
