Title: squats super set with stiff leg deads

Did about 8 sets of those today, 20 squats followed immediately by 20 sldl's... holy shit.  One of the best workouts i've had this year.  My legs are fried.  Try it, you'll thank me... or hate me.  ;D

Antagonistic training is good at times,but hows your lower back?

Two of my favorite exercises are SLDL's and BB Hack squats. Have SS'ed them quite ofter over the years. Have also done regular squats and SLDL's in the same workout, but don't recall ever SS'ing them together. As TMc say's, higher reps seem to work better, in either case. Good Luck.

haha, first thing that came to my mind after reading the original post, was "lower back"...I would drop on the floor from the back pumps. ;D

Yup,I wouldn`t do it.

I`d do squats with leg curls,followed by  extensions with stiff-leggeds.........your squats would more than likely suffer due to your lower back fatigue,pumping,and cramping,.....................I know mine would anyway.

my lower back was fatigued by the end, but no pain.  You gotta take the ego out of the equation, and lift smart with something like this.  But, what works for me could destroy someone else's back, and vice versa...
