And now, a tribute for the former talk show host:
-
It didn't take much to figure out he didn't have a future on tv. dull, monotone, boring...

As someone joked yesterday, what does that do to the hopes of Anthony Weiner?

Have a heart, Hugo. Their ratings are low enough, as it is!!

weiner is a decent looking dude. spitzer looks trollish.
i predict spitzer will be a much better tv star. he's in shape, his junk is legendary in repub circles where they begged for teh pics, and he isn't all that offensive. I mean, spitzer was ramming a 22 year old girl in her tailpipe for money. Weiner was cybering, for pete's sake.

So was the wiener thing a joint CT by Obma and CNN?
:D

nope.
MSN :)
Seriously, it took a congressman without the $ to go any higher and a baby on the way...
catapulted him into the nat'l spotlight with a minor sex scandal that made him look like a hunk and was released exactly to benefit obama - which repubs agree it did.
Now the guy will make a boatload of $ (he's already rejecting bids for increased $, ala flynt) and he'll get a nice talking head job making 10x what he made in congress. He's made for tv if there ever was a dem pundit.

and, given the fact that the american public is forgiving (hello, assraper kobe and dogkiller vick)....
in 5 years, Weiner will have taken the palin route, will be worth 10 million bucks easily... and will be able to run for office again if he wants, or will take a job at a bank somewhere...
dude is on easy street now. thanks to drudge and FOX and the repubs who were oh so upset that a guy wanted to cyber with some strange.

240, just because someone benefits from an event doesn't make for certain that it was planned and caused by those who benefited.
