  Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation (NasdaqGS: NWS - news) empire could face a bill of more than $100m (£62m) if US authorities launch an investigation into corruption following allegations that the News of the World routinely made payments to police officers totalling more than £100,000.

  If convicted the company would face a fine many times that size, lawyers have warned.

I wouldn't be surprised if all mainstream media companies are corrupt as hell.
