so after 1h on the phone with them they reduced it to 75$ per month, wich is what I am supposed to pay.

Call Customer Relations and get on a retention rate plan. I always hustle them and know most of the managers at their call centers lol
There are guides on how to hustle them online as well. Never use the consumer rate plans, they're a big rip off.

THere is a LOT of competition for cell phone companies. The market is almost tapped out versus a few years ago as far as new customers who never had a cell phone. So their strategy these days is keeping existing customers from going to a competitor.
That makes leverage on your side.
All you have to do is call them, sound irate and threaten to leave. You will then be automatically redirected to a different person who has the authority to adjust charges and give you bill credits.
It's easy.
BTW cell phone company customer service is fucking incompetent as fuck.

No. Whining about the industry will get him laughed at and blow his chances. He had a billing catastrophe that was caused by Rogers - this is his leverage. Quebec also has special exceptions and rules protecting wireless subscribers too. He needs to ask Rogers what they can do to reciprocate his loyalty, aka what sort of hardware subsidy and retention rate plan will they put him on in order to renew his contract with them.
Auto pay with a credit card our make sure you won't be overdrawn in your bank account. If they fuck up it just takes a few days to reverse the charges. If you can't afford a hit then your credit sucks, you're poor and shouldn't have a post paid account. If I get over charged I jump for joy knowing they've slipped an Ace up my sleeve.
I'm always calm, polite and professional when I bend Rogers over a gently slide my cock in. Do a hardware upgrade as well as get s new rate plan at the same time as a plan change resets your hardware upgrade eligibility. If Customer Relations won't help then ask for the Office of the President to return your call.
To get to Customer Relations don't tell a CSR you want to cancel. Tell them to need to inquire about porting our and want 100% clarity because you're afraid of Rogers morons fucking your shit up. CR reps elk ask probing questions and that's when you play the nice guy and say you don't want to leave but..... *insert valid complaint politely and intelligently*
This allows the rep to find a way to compensate you and basically bribe you into staying. Get an Android smart phone and a better plan.

Yes, to fix a legit issue. I'm talking about hustling them for free phones and rate plans that are grandfathered. Not every Joe redneck can just scream their way into an amazing deal like that. Everyone gets a freebie our two at best.

Who is your provider? I have Verizon. They have been very accurate on my billing but then I don't even use all my minutes each month, text so little that I pay for them individually and pay a flat rate for Internet and other services.
