Arnold states to having done these back in Germany when there was very little equipment, he had to improvise. I do not see the advantage for this particular guy doing these as he did not do much for a workout once he (barely) got the weight into position. He would be better off with a spotter and doing the press from the top off of the rack.
this guy keeps this up and he is bound for a serious injury.

Maybe his gym only has one bar and 6 plates...?

Pretty sure that's been posted before.
You posted it, why don't you tell us why you think it's the best?
Certainly more work ethic shown than someone who does a machine workout.
But, does it really accomplish anything that you can't get with a spotter?
I'm guessing he could probably get some nice bruises if he keeps that routine up.

Someone needs to tell him he's not in the can anymore.....

yeah nobody does this because it is STUPID. he is pretty strong though :-\
-
for a guy his size knocking out only 3 reps on the incline with 315 is kinda weak :-\
-
he lost almost all his strength just to positioning himself

Great functional training for picking up a TV and running away with it.

I do similar things - group together exercises based on bb/db weight used, to shorten workout duration by minimising plate changing and trips to the db rack. Efficiency my friends!

I do the same thing every week. ;D
-
People seriously do this?!?!? :o
